We are in Bratislava an old Austro Hungarian town that became the capital in C14th then lost it then regained it etc for about the next 400 years. I am sitting doing this before I go to a performance of Strauss and Mozart music at the Vienna State Opera.as you do Vienna is an amazing city .The architecture is just like the top end of Collins st. only magnified many times. We are docked about ten minutes from town centre along the Danube which is definitely not blue today. It has been nominated the cultural capital of europe for the year 2009 so many new buildings relating to art musicelectronic art etc have been constructed with efficiency for this great honour.
