Friday Evening October 9, 2009 our good friend Alberta picked me up from work and drove me to the airport. I was very excited, but still a bit anxious about flying for this length of time, as I am always very nervous in a plane. But thanks to the miracles of modern science, two little pills and a couple of glasses of wine and the next thing I knew, we were leaving the far end of Greenland and heading for the British Isles.
