We finally made it to Southeast Asia. It's been a dream for a long time. We have great friends in Singapore, so we stopped there first and then headed out to Cambodia. Yes, that is currently my job description. For those of you who don't know, Expat comes from expatriate, which the dictionary defines as someone who has taken up residence in another country. So yes, I follow my hubby wherever in the world his job takes us. I am adept at setting up a household in a flash, making friends I will ultimately say goodbye to forever, and adapting to the culture around me. Honestly, I feel like I'm in the military sometimes. We Expat Wives, like military wives, must go with the flow. My current assignment is in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. ... read more
