Hi, My wife and I want to plan a trip to Mexico or Belize next spring (2008). But because we’re both hovering around age 60, we’re only interested in a very quiet, slow-paced location … and we don’t need luxury ... and a single, private dwelling would be nice. In other words, no mariachi/reggae/rock music till all hours of the morning in the courtyard of the hotel next door or downstairs in our own hotel. Just want a spot where you hear nature, not an amplifier. Also, we both are recreational scuba divers, so we’d like to be near some Caribbean waters. Are we asking too much?
