Wow - sounds so great
Hi Eve - I have finally had a chance to revisit your blog. The trip sounds so amazing so far. You are such an adventurer. Someday we need to go somewhere together - I would never be as brave as you - so maybe we could go together and some of your brave would rub off on me! I hope the trip continues to be great for you!

Talking about spirituality, try visiting Auroville in Pondicherry. You would like the place as a tourist. Its tranquil. As for spirituality it can't be felt by merely visiting. Need to do some homework before that. have fun.

The People
Yes, it is the people you meet that last in the memories the longest. It it the location that frames the people.

Save those pics
You will have quite the album to remember everything with, but you need to pass your camera over and have a few more taken with you in them. Even memories of those legs will be good for a laugh in years to come. Keep up the stories. Glad to read you're doing so well.

Jealous with a Capital Green
Wow, that sounds wonderful! And here I was thinking how lucky I was that the temperature was finally above 30 and I could go in the hot tub without freezing my face for a relaxing time! You keep writing stories like that and I just may want to see India some time.

Nice life you are having eh?
Hey Eve: Seems you are having fun in India. I laughed a lot a the story of you being stripped down to nothing and rubbed all over! Ha! That was fun! Even then, if classy and well done, I guess wasn't that bad, was it? Beach, massages, restaurant and talk in a relaxing place... what a life... what a mate down there? I am sure I can make space in my agenda for all these amazing things. HOpe you keep having a wonderful time.... Omar

a small correction
the language that is spoken in kerala is Malayalam not Tamil! The mass that you heard would have been in Malayalam.

Happy people
I like the sound of Varkala - count me in. Only four more weeks and counting down. The Taj Mahal is overrated and too many tourists. I heard about the massages...aparently really nice when there are two messuses. They'll have to massage me with a rock or summat, I'm too tense. Plan on going back there. Jilane

Monkeys, Temples and Brakes, Oh My!
Oh...you poor thing. You thought monkeys could be so persistent! Though, have to admit, it made me giggle! I did get goosebumps when you mentioned the temple though. Struck a cord in me, not sure why. Very cool. If you have any more pics on it, i would love to see it! Keep your chin up...and our back AWAY from monkeys! I will send Chocolate your way!! Love you!

Looks like a good time was had by all, 1/2 way around the world. " Success Is Very Demanding", the sign says in the background of one of your pictures, so have fun when you can. Ciao Bella!

the attack of monkey
It's very amusing to hear the attack of monkey, but it must be scary, too. Sorry, buddy! Somehow it seems like the popular 2 inch mattress is everywhere!! But indeed the view is gorgeous! This term class seems pretty empty because of many gone for exchange students like YOU! We had a plenty of snow today for the 1st time for this winter believe or not. We will preserve some snow for you when you come back! :) Namastai~

Monkey devils
I feel for you - those blasted little poo-throwers. My auntie has warned me about them. What is the temperature there? I see that little girl (she's a cutie!) has a knitted sweater and hat on. Is it warmer than -30? Auf wieterzein

Monkeys
I was laughing pretty hard about your monkey encounter. You're probably happy to be heading back to your bats. If Miss Sophia was with you she'd take a swing at them. she's developed quite a vicious punch.

Halfway around the world
Hey Eve, I've been keeping busy with your blog...how fun is it. I love the pictures but I don't remember if you have any pictures of yourself. But I'm like you I take a lot of pictures of scenery. So how is school going. Everything is ok here but I wish I was in another country like you. India looks beautiful - I'll continue to read about your adventures - Darren

Monkeys
Eve, do those monkeys remind you of the looters at the landfill? You give the poor guys about the same respect. I think you should go back to negotiate. Cool trip Eve. Give me your address I'll mail you another chocolate bar.

Nice View
The view here back in Saskatoon is 0 km with all highways closed, four foot drifts, and well, well, below 0 degrees weather. Tomorrow the blizzard will be gone replaced by sunny skies and -25ish degrees weather. This is the worst blizzard I have seen in 10-20 years. Jilane has been sequested at work so she is staying there indefinitely. Most places closed down in the morning or early afternoon. Jilane's and my first camping experiences were similar to your above adventure. Bears, unexpected snow and rain, etc. while camping. No monkeys, though we did have a German couple next to us who had a tree fall near them in the campsite in the forest and were suddenly scared of the trees, "How often do they fall down?!?" "Once" is the answer I should have given. Hope your other adventures are less interesting and more fascinating. Dave S

Colour Me Green!
Hey Eve, Your new place looks fabulous! I would so like to be able to see it right now, especially the green plant life. I agree you need to go shopping and make the room a little more your own, I know you'll find just the right pretties to fit in. You'll have to start a food log of cool things you've eaten and maybe you can have a food party upon return. Yummm. We missed you at the NYD party, a good time was had and I'm sure you'd like the Swap game; Damon was wanting to play the Werewolf game. The temperature was just right and they played road hockey for over two hours! Hugs, Constance

Great Waste System
I guess low tech waste hauling still works. Thanks for the picture. I'll be sure to show it to a few interested parties here. We are hoping to go high tech with GPS and onboard computers. Ciao Eve, Roland

Draggin' a Waggin
So does the garbage collection system need its own garbage collection system for what it leaves behind? I see a long wagon train of smaller and smaller animals pulling smaller and smaller carts, each dealing with the animal before. Good to see that you are doing well.
