| 15th November 2006 pablo escobar | global warmer - From: Glaciers gallore Wow that glacial landscape is so stark it hardly seems real and the blog entry is suspiciously short as well. ...I hope you aren't doing some creative photoshoping whilst dreamily whiling away the hours on the Copa Cobana? |
| 13th November 2006 Mr Hat | Brrr - From: Fire and Ice I have always wanted to go to the end of the earth just to see if I would fall off. From your pics, Terra del Fuego seems a little Middle Earth'esque with all those rolling valleys and ice capped peaks. In fact you both look like giants compared to the size of that post box. Viva la blog del fin del mundo! |
| 12th November 2006 Sarah | Glacier hiking - From: Fire and Ice Did you not learn from my disastrous glacier hiking in nz?? |

| 30th September 2006 Fay | Blog about a hard slog - From: 4 x 4 through the south Bolivia seems quite stark. The fauna however is charming. Maybe the hardships endured were worthwhile. Kol HaKavod! |
| 30th September 2006 anonymous | Bolivia - From: 4 x 4 through the south Your long bus trips brought back memories of our trip l8 years ago-also in September as we celebrated David's birthday then. The buses must be the same spine shattering ones in use then. I remember the horendous odour round Lake Titicaca-kids and animals would just relieve themselves where they happened to be!Interesting place though. Glad to hear you are are going onto Machu Pichu It and the Iguazu falls are must sees in S.America.Shana Tova to you both Aunty E. |
| 19th September 2006 MJ | one Sucre or two? - From: Bringing out the Silver ware ' Fiesta Judging by the surrealness of some of those costumes I wouldn't be suprised if there was more in that great Bolivian chocolate you mention than just cocoa. |

| 13th September 2006 MJ | what a shock! - From: Shock Therapy Let me first say that I am so very impressed by the recent blog comments from other people. Let s go for a thread... What a shock! Did I read mention of a cheap breakfast and Greg in the same sentance, that is great, but now I need to know how cheap exacty. |

Never smile at a crocodile No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile Don't be taken in by his welcome grin He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin Never smile at a crocodile Never dip your hat and stop to talk awhile Never run, walk away, say good-night, not good-day Clear the aisle but never smile at Mister Crocodile You may very well be well bred Lots ot etiquette in your head But there's always some special case, time or place To forget etiquette For instance: Never smile at a crocodile No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile Don't be taken in by his welcome grin He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin Never smile at a crocodile Never dip your hat and stop to talk awhile Never run, walk away, say good-night, not good-day Clear the aisle but never smile at Mister Crocodile PS My question . . .are all these people writing comments your friends or strangers?? |

| 22nd May 2006 Elephant man | Mimes R us - From: The last Hoorah That elephant seems pretty cool perfromance art compared to the typical unhappy memories of mimes working their way out of invisible glass boxes. |
| 12th May 2006 Puffinman | Puffin - From: In Search of Puffins Out of all your travels this has to be the best - the mythical Puffin nirvana of Frane. Some interesting facts about Puffins are for all you birdwatchers out there : - their latin name means 'little brother' probably because of their monastic style plumage - they normally mate for life - they can feast on both fish and plankton - their beaks get brighter in mating season - it is virtually impossible to tell male from female (except for a puffin) - they are on of the few birds to have devised a way of carrying up to a dozen in their beaks by stacking them in a crosshatched pattern. |
| 8th May 2006 Hans | Clog - From: Amsterdam Ahh Holland land of tulips, clogs, windmills, cheese and shop windows with no curtains. How did you end up taking a pic of a dutch 'convenience store' from such a strange angle? What a great blogpage this is! |
