A and P's House
I forgot to tell you that I went for a ride on Adam's bike. It was so much fun, I really liked going fast. The funny looking person beside Adam is me. I wasn't sure how to get on.....
I've been in Toronto for a week now and have been having a great time. I arrived at Toronto airport with my enormous board bag and my back pack and Peggy (my cousin's partner) was there waiting for me. When she saw my head poking out from behind all my stuff I'm sure she was glad she had brought Adams truck to pick me up. Adam and Peggy live in a beautiful part of Toronto called the Beaches. For my fellow Aucklanders it's a lots like Devonport. Quiet, tree lined streets; pretty, little old houses and it's a ten minute walk [View Full Entry]

Hey Hey The Stampede is now all finnished. It was a full on ten days and heaps of fun. I was working at a bar in the grandstand where they have the rodeo and the Chuck wagon races so it was always busy with heaps of people drinking and having a good time. I meet some great people and had a wicked time. It's hard to describe the Stampede it was masive, just think of American movies with country fair's in them and then times it by ten.....MASSIVE. All the days have kind of merged in to a hazzy blur of [View Full Entry]

This is part of the drive from Anchorage to Seward.
We flew into Anchorage Airport on Thursday 16th June. It was a beautiful day. we wandered around and watched a band in the park then had great Sushi. WE arrived just in time for the summer Solstice weekend so it was light till 12pm. We meet a German Girl at the hostel and she offered to take us to Seward the nest day. It was a lovely drive to Seward sown through the cook inlet. We tried to spot some Beluga Whales in the Cook Inlet. We thought we saw some one breathing but it could have been a wave. Hey Guys time for a bit of a catch up. This is what I wrote on June 14th for a journal entry. I’m writing this Blog form a lovely little flat in the middle of Vancouver. Lace and I are staying with a couple of her mates from home Tommo and Ali. Vancouver Island was great, all the people we meet where so laid back and friendly. We had a bit of a mishap on our second day in Tofino though. We had hired some bikes and successfully biked to some of the beaches further out of Tofino (it was awesome [View Full Entry]

So I last left you in Jasper. We had a wonderful time there but it has been very interesting since. We hitched to Prince George with a great Canadian Lady but she started to fill our heads with stories about people going missing and getting killed between Prince George and Prince Rupert.......So we decided not to hitch any further. We got dropped of at the info centre in Prince George and the really nice girl helped us decide what to do from there. There was a bus leaving that night 11.15pm so we decided to wait for it. My gosh there [View Full Entry]

All Packed up
All Packed up
This is all we are taking for five weeks travel. Hope Kate dosen't mind dirty clothes!
So we've left Banff far behind us thanks to Hollie and Keeley and their trusty car Emma. We only had a few wrong turns before leaving the Bow Valley. The road between Banff and Jasper is with out a doubt the most picturesque road I've ever driven on. There was lake after beautiful lake and mountain after amazing mountain. We stopped so many times to take pictures that it took about 6hours to drive the 3hr high way. I'll put so pictures on but they only give a glimpse of what a beautiful place this is. Yesterday was a day for [View Full Entry]

Leaving Banff

North America » Canada » Alberta » Banff
So Kate and I are finally leaving....in about half an hour actually so this will be quick. The last week in Banff has been great. We finnished up at Sunshine on Monday. Went up to watch the slush cup which was classic. Some great costumes and huge splashes. Then after all the punter went home we got to party. Sunshine put on a great night, we had a pig on the spit for dinner, it was so good. Spent Tuesday recovering then on Wednesday we went white water rafting on the Kiking Horse river. It was so much fun. Unfortunatly the [View Full Entry]

The girls after night skiing at Sunshine. With $2 burgers and drinks it's no wonder we have big smiles on our faces.
This is my first Travel Blog page so please excuses spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes and any other kind of mistake that will appear. This is my third time righting this little blog, there are a number of excuses one being this computer I'm on has really high virus protection on it and the other being that some times I can just be an idiot. So basically my last two attempts at a journal covered the highlights and lowlights of Banff. They where a bit more detailed than this one is going to be. I have about 10 days left in Banff [View Full Entry]
