The first weekend in May (6th and 7th) I went up to Buxton to visit some family I have up there. They have a farm and live in the old farm house that was built in 1675. It's an amazing house. I had a fantastic time. It was so lovely to be in a family environment again. We had a big dinner on Saturday night then spent the night playing cards, telling stories and having arguments about religion and politics. The weekend before my birthday Hannah and I did a trip to Venice. We both found it completly breathtaking and spent our first day there just wondering the streets and Alley's. It was amazing. We went to coffee shops and delis and had lunch on the banks of the Grand Canall. On Saturday night we went down quite a dodgy looking alley and came across a great band playing out the front of a wine bar and stayed dacing the night away. I had a great time. Defiantly one year older but I'm not sure about the wiser. We decided to celebrate my 26th birthday with a Monopoly pub crawl in a 70's theme. It was such a fun day, probably one of the funniest I've had in ages. We started at 10am and a bar in White chapel then made our way around the pubs of London on Monopoly board streets. In January we had our work conference in Malaga, Spain. It’s the first work conference I’ve ever been to so I was pretty excited and impressed that we where all heading over to Spain. The conference it’s self wasn’t that exciting…just the usual speeches and patting ourselves on the back. But the awards evening and extra day spent mostly in Port Abanuse (can’t spell) was great fun. I've just had a fantastic weekend in London - went to Xariver Rudd concert on Saturday night then a rugby final at Twickernham on Sunday. Sorry I've been so slack with the blogs. Hey I am in London and loving it. I have been super busy at work and enjoying the build up to the festive season. I have been in London nearly two months now and so far so good. I am working at as a PA in a recruitment company, AndersElite. It is quite a bit different to anything I have done before so it has been a challenge but I love it. So I need to tell you all about the last two weekends here in Canada. I have got myself a nice cushy 8.30-4.30 reception job so for the first time ever I have the weekends off.
