We're now up on the Belizean highlands in a town called San Ignatio, close to the Belize / Guatemalan border. This is the town everyone stays in to do some adventuring in the Mayan caves and jungles before heading over to Guatemala, or vice versa. We came here from Caye Caulker this morning, after a brilliant time there. We LOVED Caye Caulker and all the happy people there. We're in Belize! Belize is a small country in Central America south of Mexico, north west of Honduras and north east of Guatemala. It is famous for its coastline and its great diving and snorkelling due to a long barrier reef which runs along side its coast. This place is great! Or, you might say, unbelizeable! Ah well, our exact location isn´t on the above drop down menus but for info we are on the little ´Isle Mujeres' which translates as ´The Island of women´ .
