We have been behind in blogging…the relaxation of the vacation has caught up to us and now we are completely and utterly ruined by laziness. Too much spa, too much wine, and definitely too much guacamole and green chiles have beat us into submission, demanding frequent siestas. Well after many glorious days in Santa Fe, it's time to get to work on the ol' blog. Since we last posted, we've njoyed the outdoor pursuits of Northern New Mexico. One of the most beautiful high alpine forests we've seen is in Bandolier National Monument, home, some six hundred years ago to the Pueblo Indians. Well, we are here, snugged into our little Santa Fe adobe abode. We are enjoying the people, guacamole, and our private hot tub...not all together, that would be very messy. Santa Fe is truly a gulp of fresh air and we are breathing in deeply and settling into relaxation mode. Ahhhhhh... In Texas freedom tastes like beer and tonight we are drinking up! We left Little Rock this morning and it finally feels like we have left the Air Force behind. We are taking the best of Little Rock with us...our wonderful friends and of course our new son Cletus. He has Eli's eyes. YES! That was the salutation, top-center, upon opening my college acceptance letter 15 years ago. A pretty happy moment. In fact I was ecstatic. YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is more the way I am feeling as Erin, Cleetus (and Lola-Belle in spirit) and I close up shop in Little Rock.
