| 30th June 2009 Jack | Great Little story of my hometown - From: A Visit to a Papuan Version of Pompeii Your story is very refreshing and I rather found it more interesting than what other people have written about Rabaul in recent times. The photgraphs of the place make me happy and a little sad about Rabaul. But you focus on what one can do in Rabaul and what you did and the places you visited which I rather enjoy reading instead of feeling sad about what the volcano did to Rabaul. Looks like you had a great time and your story has inspired me so I will now write down some of the places I would like to go when I go home at the end of July 2009 and have also just bought a new Digital SLR camera so I can take some decent shots of the town I use to call home and still is home even I am far away. Thanks for your great little story. Cheers |

| 17th April 2006 Mouli | Tickets - From: Travelling down a tsunami struck coast, chilling out in Mamallapuram, and getting increasingly annoyed with Indian Railways! The trains normally run fully booked during the summer months (April-May). You'd have to book in advance. Still, tourists do have a special quota where you'd be able to book at the last minute... Just make sure that you mention this the next time you're at the ticket counter (not sure if they insist on dollar payments) |
