Aw - what a lovely blog Em (even though you didn't mention that the tree walk is 40m high!). Welcome home darling. We are all longing to see you but I know how you are going to miss your brilliant friends in Australia. If any of you are reading this, thank you for making Emmy's time in Oz so special and come over any time to see us.

Hi my good friend hope all is well, life has its ups and downs across the world here also, trust me. I seem to be stuck at a certain wieght and cannot shift the ****ing thing, anyway i believe where theres a will theres a way. If your staying out there might come and vist my australian cousin is here at the end of the month and we are having a bbq on the roof for my birthday, anna/tosh you are invited its on the 1st of july 2pm onwards you know where i live, pop over it will be good to see you and i am having fireworks, he he he. The photos of oz are just as i imagine and now i don't need to go there, ha ha ha. What else can i say, i'm alive which is a amazing thing. missing you xxx

hi stranger hows you i am so sorry to hear and i send my love so does mum just got back from turkey land seen kimbo wicked time but not quite as wicked as you are doing now i know im a crap friend and from now on ill keep u posted will read ur blog tonight and get back to u still recovering from turky land had turkey tummy for half of the holiday i canny belive i can start up a little network again with u and kimbo send my love to everyone, hi everyone hello have a wicked time im sure you are i will get back to you verry soon xxxxxxxxxxx

I have stayed in a few hotels in my travels but never one with such style. What a coincidence Angela has her med school work on your side of the world, when you just happen to be in the same hemisphere. I do hope that Wil gets his flight sorted in good time...Wil...are you reading this? Just in case anyone thinks this is what Emmy does between ward rounds and bed baths, I have to say they'd be nearly right! Bet they miss you when you're gone, Emmy! Makes the French Pyrenees seem a bit tame - which is where I'll be in May. XXX

Hi, look at you travelling, wow. you look in good shape too, i have lost 2 stone, v proud. You going to miss my birthday, better send me a pressie and card. i have a new boyfriend, his name is daniel and 22. the weather here is boiling, i have been working on my tan on my roof, went for a swim this morning and trying to get a job. is there a spare bed at yours, i would like to visit oz. anyways missing you, its no fun. lots of love seraphina. xxx

6 days to the ultimate hotel experience
...in Brunei - and 7 stars you lucky lucky thing you. How do you manage to cope with all that partying? I suppose you managed successfully to mix parties wih exams for three splendid years in Eastbourne (just) so Sydney must be a cinch. Did Alex fly over from Shanghai (wasit?) just for the Mardi Gras? It's THAT good?? Love you and don't forget to write from Brunei (the laundry is free, surely) and try out all the local food cos I want to know. Not just the Bacardi Breezers, OK? DadXXX

Hi, you can put one of those fab photos in your new photo frame. 25...... quater of a century...... proper adults. well nearly, until we get a morgage and a husband to match. i'm off on a photo shoot today, £150 for 2 hours work, and starting a full time job on monday. sun is shinning but we had giant hail stones last week thats good old england for you, its my birthday 2nd july. Well, you really have settled in over there. Sounds like Australia has managed to accommodate your normal Emmy party-style existence rather well. And with sunshine thrown in too - they say that's the hardest part to leave behind. I see all your places visited are on the little map at the foot of your blog - very helpful. Keep safe!

Most pleased about the diving
That diving picture really took me back to Richmond road swimming pool c.1992! Just shows, teach 'em young... I came across 'mental health days' in 1978, teaching in California, from my colleague Robert who was an injured-but-recovered Viet Nam vet, very laid-back. He'd obviously had quite enough of stress getting to him. I thought he'd actually invented the concept of the MHD! Got a postcard from Angela today of Whitsunday Island + fantastic white beach. What a great way to celebrate New Year! But you missed terrific display of fireworks on the South Bank. You may not mind too much about this. Hope the flat is great. Bondi, huh? That sounds tough. Send more blogs! We sad folk back home tune in every day in hope of news from the land of sun and beautiful people. LoL - Pam
