Have spent too much time gadding about the place with just my bag on my back - but even now that I am back in Aus, I refuse (!!!) to stop moving. It just means that i'll be spending more time exploring my own backyard (and the pacific, may I add) rather than places that take a day to fly to!Emms

Just spent Easter up the north coast - about 5hrs north of Sydney. Bummed a lift back with my lil sis (aghh - i hate school holidays - too many people wanting to drive on the freeways!) but on the way up caught the XPT. Now usually I just go Economy, but since recently coming into the possesion of a beloved concession card, I paid the extra $10 and went first class - I'm never going back to Economy! Honestly folks - do it - your legs, bums and elbows will thank you. (especially since it takes a ridiculous 8 hrs on the train!) Also, next time I participate in an Easter Egg hunt I'll make sure to try to get to the eggs before the bush turkeys do - I'm not sure they should eat ... read more
