Various stuff from our adventures in Sweden In the last couple of months we haven't had time to write on the blog as much as we wanted to. Therefore we are a little behind with telling you all about our adventures in the world. We have a lot to write now. We have been to Barcelona and New York and the Bahamas. We will write about all of that. But first, before we write about all the exciting places we have been to and all adventures we had there, we want to write about what we've been doing in between travels. First we want to tell you all that our large happy family has become even larger. First Ms Anthrax and Mr Black Death joined the family and a few weeks later Pneumonia ... read more

Christmas in Mexico with dad Hi all you fans of our blog. Now we have a new exciting story we would like to tell all of you. The story is about what we did in Mexico over Christmas and New Year. We have been to Mexico before. If you look at this blog entry and this one you can read for yourself about what we did then. Mexico is a big country so last time we didn't have time to see all of it. But we liked it a lot and that's why we went back now. We wanted to see more of what Mexico has to offer. This trip we did only with dad. Mum preferred to stay at home celebrating the Christmas holiday with Aunt Anna, Aunt Ida, our cousins and grandma and grandpa. ... read more

Princess Leia is prime minister in Ukraine On the second half of our trip in Ukraine we saw a poster with a picture of a person we know very well. It was Princess Leia on the poster and it said that she is now prime minister of Ukraine. We have been wondering what happened to her because after Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi she disappeared and we were never able to figure out what happened to her. Now we know that she ended up in Ukraine and that she is now the leader of that country. Good that everything worked out well for her. The next place we stopped at was a town called Kamianets-Podilskyi. We saw three things in that city that we thought were interesting enoug... read more

This summer vacation we went to Ukraine Hi all you fans of our blog. We are still not finished with telling about all the travels we have done this year. We still have the big vacation in Ukraine to write about. That trip was so long and we saw so much that we have to divide it in two blog entries to fit in everything. So here comes the story from the first half of all our adventures in Ukraine this summer. When we came to Ukraine we arrived in Kiev, the capital city. There mum and dad first took us to a playground. We are little toys and toys are usually what little children play with. But toys also like to play. So in reality when children play with us toys we are also playing ... read more

One weekend in Riga We have two more small trips we would like to write about. Like the trips to Berlin and Milan they are too small to merit one entry each but together they are enough for us to write about. First we would like to write about our trip in Riga. In Riga we stayed at a youth hostel called Tiger Hostel. The name of the hostel is not as strange as you might think. You see the owner of the hostel is a tiger and there are tiger paintings on the walls and carpets with tigers on them on the floor and so on. It was a very nice hostel and the owner was a very nice fellow too. In a restaurant in Riga dad got all excited when he saw that they ... read more

Toys going to the Arctic Once or twice every year dad takes us on trips when mum doesn't come along. This summer dad took us on one of these trips and the destination this time was North Cape. North Cape is the furthest north you can go in Europe. That sounded to us like a big adventure so we happily followed dad on this trip. We thought that we would have to walk for days in snow and ice, sleep in a tent, fight with wild animals and generally risk our lives to reach this remote destination so far up in the Arctic. It turned out it wasn’t quite the adventure we thought it would be. There is a paved road going right up to North Cape and once you are there you find a restaurant, ... read more

Dad took us to India We have already told you about the trips we made to Milan and Berlin earlier this year. But in between those we actually managed to squeeze in yet another trip. That one was to India and we are going to write about it here. Mum and dad have been to India before. Dad has in fact been there twice before. You see, mum and dad are both very old and they also travelled for many years before we were born. It can’t have been very fun for them to travel without us all those years because we always come up with many great ideas on what to do and where to go. But travel they did nevertheless. On this trip to India mum decided not to come along. She had enough ... read more

One weekend in Milan in Italy In late winter and early spring this year mum and dad went on two shorter trips on which they let us come along. Each of these only a weekend long so we didn't have time to see very much. But if we put these two trips together we think we have enough exciting stories to tell to make it worth writing. On the first of these trips we went to Milan and Bergamo in Italy. We were so happy to go back to Italy because we had so much fun last time we were there. We would have preferred to go back to Rome rather than go to Milan and Bergamo because we have unfinished business at Ponte Milvio. Well we have to go to Rome some other time since ... read more

Christmas and New Year in a land where men wear dresses Two years ago dad told us that we were going to visit a country called Yeah Man. Back then we thought daddy was joking with us. Dad's jokes are so silly and stupid that you wouldn't believe it. And a country just can't be called Yeah Man. But it turned out that there actually is a country called Yeah Man. Well, strictly it's called Yemen but that is almost the same, isn't it? If you want to read about our adventures there you can follow this link. In December last year dad told us that we were going to a country called Oh, Man. That's got to be impossible we thought. This time it's got to be a joke. To our great surprise it turned ... read more

A short trip to the north - really far north Last summer dad had a few days off when mum still had to work. Those days dad took us for a short vacation trip without mum. That doesn't seem to happen very often these days. Dad doesn't seem to go anywhere without mum anymore. We have been thinking that maybe dad is getting too old to travel on his own. Or maybe it is that mum is not letting him travel on his own...? Well, last summer dad did go on a trip on his own and we were with him. To Murmansk in Russia all three of us went. That was a travel destination we didn't expect dad to take us to. We actually found Murmansk a bit exotic. Also going to a place north ... read more
