Alright! Here we go, we are flying over to Singapore on weds, the 17th. Im pretty excited, little bit nervous. Me and Jason decided that we were going to try our hardest not to plan and focus on the next step, but to just go day to day see what we feel like doing. It seemed like in Australia we had everything planned out, be here by this date, leave, do this and that. So Jason and I have just finished driving the great ocean road, between Melbourne and Adalaide. It takes you along the windy roads, near the extremely high cliffs. We rented a wicked camper, which is essentially a renovated white work van. So, that in the back there is a little sink area and shelves and a coolers. Then in the middle there is a bed that turns into a table, also where we store all our stuff. All whicked campers are spray panted and say something on the back. Ours is definitly not the best one we've seen. Ours says I love booze on the side, and honk if your horny on the back. Hello, Im currently waiting for my Bus and thought I would update this lovely blog. We have been in Noose the last 3 days, and Rainbow beach/fraser island the 5 before that. Fraser island like a said before is the largest sand island in the world. We spent the 3 days 2 nights 4x4ing around the island in a group of 10. Jason (driver) me, Leonie, Tilman, Dario, Ramond, Sarah, Caroline (all german, spoke german 95% of the time) then Fionna and Sammone (english). We had to drive on the beaches, while watching out for washouts, and salt water also any bumps because there seemed to be a fine for any damage done to the crap 4x4. HEY everyone! So Jasieonese and I are leaving our wonderful home in Brisbane in 5 days to continue our adventure in other interesting places. I am proud to say that in three months I have made a second home half way across the world, and im going to be sad to leave the friends I have met here. BUT thats part of it all. I do really miss home, I feel like I should come home for a week to recharge before carrying on to the next adventure. That is not exactly an option though. So, I have a funny story that you all will probably appreciate, although at the time it was not so funny to me. At work today I was fixing up someones table with cutlery when I hit over a ladies glass of wine with my elbow. Red wine everywhere! Evvvvvveeeeerrryyyywhherreee! And yes that does suck a lot, but.... oh wait..... it spilt all over the lady. Who was wearing WHITE PANTS! Of course this is something only Emma Hoskins can do. Who even wears white pants anymore?... So shes covered in red wine Im terrified all the people at the table are staring at me soooo I go get some club soda. Byron Bay is an amazing place, it is so beautiful, the beaches are crazy and white. Jason, Travis and I went with a bunch of people from my work and met some people from his work down there. There was a total of 14 of us. 10 of us had one whole dorm room rented out for just us. Where me and Jason got stuck sharing a twin size bed, lets just say that it was a horrible sleep haha. We went for one night, spent the first day on the beach, where.... the ocean ate my second camera... Updates from the last two weeks: Ive been working for about 2 weeks now, I like it, the people at my work are really nice. But the restaraunt is fancy so i have these stricked giuldlines to follow and it seems like I keep messing them up, but im slowly learning. Me and jason were lucky enough to get invited to go out to the christmas party, which was all inclusive...including drinks, which then leads to me drinking to much wine haha We ended up leaving without saying bye to anyone lol i dont think anyone really noticed.
