I woke Theresa up at almost the crack of dawn. I woke her at 8 but for her that was the crack of dawn. She whined to get out of bed so I pulled her out of her bed but she still fought to get out of bed. So I poured water all down her face then she got up and went to the bathroom. She got changed and we got out of the door. Today we had to return our rental car since we had to leave tonight to go to the airport. It was the last time Theresa and I were going to eat our signature breakfast for a long time and that was saddening. Today we got up at 9 o'clock. We bought breakfast from our favourite cafe. I bought a hash brown and cappacino but Theresa bought a latte. Theresa prefers change, I don't. Today Theresa and I went shopping today. We went to every single shop in driving distance in Netherlands. We went into every single shop that looked interesting. It was quite funny because Theresa did not even have any idea how much money she was spending. After a while I told her to have a look in her purse and see how much money she had. Today was like the ultimate lie in. Theresa and I didn't even bother to get up at a suitable time. We got up at about 11 but sat in our beds until about 1 o'clock. Then we actually got out of bed because we were starving. We got dressed and walked out of our hotel to go get some breakfast. It was freezing outside!! Theresa and I were already wearing many layers and we were still freezing! We saw this guy that was walking past in a singlet and shorts?! I am not even sure how these people can stand the cold. Today was another late start. I am starting not to care though. Today Theresa and I were going to check out the 17th Century Canals. Today I was taking the nap in the back and Theresa was driving. It took us about 40 minutes and it might have been sooner if we actually had any idea where we going. Since Theresa was driving she decided that we should just drive and when we saw the water we were there. This morning there was no wasting time. I literally pushed Theresa out of her bed and shoved her into the bathroom at 8. She was about to slap me but I threatened to throw her straightner out the window, so she didn't object. She dutifully got dressed, in record time if I do say so myself and we were ready to go by 9 o'clock sharp. This time I made sure that both Theresa and I had brought everything we needed to bring for example our camera's. It was actually a really long drive to The Kuekenhof Gardens and Theresa slept like a baby in the car. Which I meant I had to drive for an hour. Today was an alright day. Theresa and I had a late start to the day. We got up at about 10. We took our time though, it didn't really bother us on late we were. It obviously didn't bother Theresa because she insisted on straightening her hair, applying her make-up and reading her magazine before we left. Personally I thought she could have done this on the plane instead of keeping me up, but nooo she had to do it then! While I was waiting for her I wrote down directions to The Kuekenhf gardens. I woke up in the morning from Theresa shoving me in the arm. After her long sleep on the plane she was restless and had to talk to someone. Unlike me she had refused to bring a book to read on the plane. I wasn't a happy camper that was for sure. I can tell you now waking me up in the morning is like waking up the devil. After talking to Theresa for 3 hours, it was time for us to get off the plane. I was exhausted and I really didn't want to go through custom's and have some guy with an accent give me dirty looks. I have always really wanted to go to the Netherlands only I have never ever been on a 2 day plane trip and I really didn't want to start now. Thankfully going with my best friend Theresa might have made it better. It was an 18 hour flight, including one stop over to Malaysia but I still wasn't very happy about that. I thanked my lucky stars though that I was leaving at 11:55PM and not 11:55AM. At least now I didn't have to have a restless night on the plane...yet. My day had a pleasurable beginning. By the time I woke up it was in the morning I didn't know what time I was still on Netherlands time. I knew the plane was landing soon though because of the announcment that woke me up. There wasn't much to do I was to restless to get anything out of my bag. Theresa was on her phone playing some game. I got up to go to the toilet. When I got back Theresa was still on her phone but since we were landing I told her to turn it off unless she wanted the plane to crash. She, without even thinking turned the phone off.
