Friday: TOLEDO! It was supposed to rain Saturday, so we decided to hit up Toledo on Friday. I was going to take the train with Michelle Wren and Lauren (who had booked tix earlier that day) but Maru said the bus was cheaper and the same amount of time- so my new friend John from Sofia's bday party earlier that week ..whose in madrid just for a week..and I took the bus! I´m going to start writing the Oktoberfest blog whenever I get a chance. SO, it started off with getting everything together Thursday morning, skipping classes for my 110 PM flight. I thought I was supposed to leave my house at 11, but apparently I misheard and was supposed to be at the airport around 11... oh well! Getting ready for Oktoberfest tomorrow!! I got a tent this morning from a sports store for only 40 euros (El Corte Ingles is ridiculous.. for a smaller tent it was 130 euros..) and a sleeping bag, then met up with Lis to do some museum touring! We didnt make it to the museums, the lines were too long, but we still got some falafel lunch and took pictures around the palacio a bit. That was fun... So I'm totally doing this while I have 300 pages of spanish literature to read. woo! PORTUGAL WAS AMAAZZZZZINGGG. Thank goodness I made it to my flight.. I was out til 5 the night before, hitchhiked home from a garbageman (way safe actually and free! Its the new taxi) and somehow slept through my alarms at 7 and awoke at 9 (when I was supposed to LEAVE the house) and go to the airport for my 11:00 flight. And i was the first one there. yay!
