I shall backup a touch. I wrote last from Cambodia, and I would like to agknowledge that Alexis is working very hard towards finally graduating from university while I myself am being a bum. so kudos to her. anyways enough of making her [View Full Entry]

Hello there loyal readers and worryers, I just got back to civilization today, after spending nearly a week, one glorious week on the island of Koh Ru, here off the coast of cambodia. and well, yeah it was splendid. I'm going to give a run down of a day. So I wake up under my mosquito net to the sounds of light waves rocking up on the sandy beach. so I pull myself out of my sleeping revelrie to walk to the balcony to gaze on the shoreline, a beacon standing before me. and I says to myself, enough of this [View Full Entry]

Hey hey hey!!!!! I'm back in Cambodia!!! praise whoever you want to!!!!! Thailand officially is only a favorite country of people who are on heavy crack binges or enjoy having their money stolen. yeah lost more money, another $40 down the drain. my mom says I'm aiding the local economy but I call that bullcrap. I call it people stealing from me and thats about all. anyways, after that first day of scuba diving, I decided to do another one, since well, I kinda love it if you hadn't already guessed. The second day was again a goregous day in the [View Full Entry]

Hello land lubbers!!!!! Yeah I just got off a dive boat like 30 minutes ago, I have salt all over me, and I'm loving it. but I'll get to that. our last night in bangkok was a blast .we met up with lauren midday, woke her up from an air conned stupor, and chilled in her beautiful room for a while, a lot nicer than the cubicle that we resided in at the time. Then there was a huge storm and the streets were flooded and the water was knee deep and the only way to make it through was to [View Full Entry]

I just think of what it would have been like if Sombun had have been there. Oh I don't think I wrote about this. Hopefully everybody lremmeber the little boy named Sula who just stole my heart?? Well turns out his name is sombun, little fauxpas there. but [View Full Entry]

Hey y'all, So I decided that I can ooh and ahh over these kids and this place as much as I desire but you just have to see some of the pictures. Today was the last day that the big rotary group was here so they put on a big base ball game with a ton of equipment that they brought for the kids. Somehow i wound up as the coach manager emotional advisor for one of the teams, yes the girl that never once played baseball or had any interest in playing baseball. playing in the backyard with aaron hardly [View Full Entry]

Hello all, Well we made it to the kids center, it's not an orphanage at all. we got here on friday and loving it already. It's about 45 minutes south of chiang rai, and there are 400 kids here. We sleep in the older girls dorm, so with about 35 11-14 year olds. it's been really great since we got here, the rest of the volunteers are really nice, but the kids are just overwhelmingly adorable and loving. within minutes of being here they would charge us for hugs, I must get about 600 hugs a day, waaaay more than the [View Full Entry]
