went to amsterdam which was great we went on the walking tour went to a dance night where a live trumpet player soloed along with a dj. we also ate at a great veggie restaurent. we had a nasty run in a with a rather grumpy waiter. we saw down and on the menu it said these mini dutch pancakes were 5 euros and we were kinda questioning it anyways and so we ordered them and she said ok 5.50 came back to the hostel and collapsed for two hours as i was sick with a cough. i met tat in a nearby park and we sat and read and then headed towards the birkenstock store which did not have my size been quite awhile and i hadnt even realizedwe spent the next day at kirstens doing lots of walking. we went to the rhine and walked up a hill of vineyards and at the top there was a statue honoring writing this but i dated it Saturday as i have quite a bit of catching up to doon Friday we wnet to the musee d'orsay which is by far my fav. musuem in paris. the paintings there are much more to mz liking and its so much more mangable. we got in for free again yey and i made sure to take time to look at every differnet painting and found many by famous artists that id n saw lots of artists that i had never heard of before that i know really loved. from there we headed towards teh centre de pompidou and went shopping on the way. stopping into zara and buying purple paris the first thing we did was go food shopping which was great we got fruit salad adn i got a lovey quishe for dinner. we went to see a market which was very fun to look around. there were a bunch of random items that people just seemed to be selling of. some of which seemed geniunely antiquey however much of it look just like junk. i got some fries and then we headed back 10 on saturday adn got a train to milan where we grabbed some coffee and snacks. the train to milan was great we had our own compartment to ourselves so could lie down and sleep as there were three venice....we left florence yesterday at 11 only to travel 15 min to antoher train station for a train that would take us to venice. the train FINALLY arrived and then we started our journey only 4 hours luckily. however when we were in teh florence train stsation we tried to book our train from venice to paris only to be told that the first train woudl be avaible on tues and then finally got inside i had gotten before we joined the line a delishious chocolate croissantwe went inside the gallery and saw david and lots of other cool paintings which were very cool. we days...there was a tran strike the day we went from rome to florence which created some uneasy feelings when they werent' sure if there would be a train leaving that day. many people were stuck in SWEATING it is incredibly hot here with no relief at night either. the thermoniter in our room reads 30 degrees CELCIUS the entire time. allie and i are considering pooling for AC which we can get at night for a certain price from papa germano they also gave us a great gift of a bottle of wine last night...how kind of themlast night we had dinner in emotional even driving through og was tough...but once we got through security i calmed down and decided to make the best of it. our flight to england was great it went by quick and AA has a new
