Happy New YEar
Sounds like another great time with friends!!! 19.03 is even more that the movie in 3D costs here.....It is $8.25 plus a surcharge of $2.50 for 3D!! Madison went to Sherlock Holmes over the weekend and really like it...look for it on your free thing.. Aaron and Amanda went to Blind Side last night and both really liked it...She only had to nudge him once to wake him up. You know Aaron and movies! See you in 15 days!!!!

Happy New Year
Hi Elyse and Pete - Happy New Year to you guys! We are so happy that you are getting to enjoy Hong Kong for New Years. Sounds like you have made great friends there and have done a great job at learning how to get around. I am also very happy that Peg and John are meeting you in Australia. You guys will have a great time. Any thoughts on whether you are thinking of extending for another year or will one be sufficient? Paulette

Ole is a godsend
I'm with ya on the pasta sauce and pasta. If you do the math, and stretch out the sauce, it works out to only about 8-10 RMB a meal, which is about the cost of going out for Muslim noodles. Enjoy delicious food at home and feel like you're coming out ahead! BTW, Carrefour (in Central Walk) has a fantastic import food section with many of those items and their prices are lower. Last week I found chicken noodle soup for the first time. Happy Eating!

Fascinating!
This was amazing and so much information---love the pictures-as you wrote in your blog they are very emotionally charged. I do remember all this as I lived thru these times. Seeing where this all took place is sobbering. I am enjoying your blog very much and love the videos too. You are both having quite the adventure this year! Take care, Clare (mom of Martin who teaches in your program)
