The Merlion
After arriving at 1am yesterday we caught a taxi to HostelOne66 for a sleep. In the morning we decided to head into town on the MRT for a wander around some of the sights. (Koala-on-the move was a bit nervous, last time he was on an MRT in Shanghai he was stuck in the door!) The Merlion was the first big hit on the list and the kids had a ball playing on the steps around the merlion and found lots of tiny seasnails. (Oh, and "no more photos!" has already started). From there we walked along the esplanade past the various war memorials to Raffles Hotel. Planning for our Malaysian trip 11th-March to 8th-April 2006 Things are starting to become a little hectic. So much to be done, not so much time for it to be done in ;) Never mistake motion for action. - Ernest Hemingway The plan is to fly into Singapore, 2 weeks in Sabah then 2 weeks on the Peninsular. Well we've managed to arrange the *fly into Singapore* part! {A few days later} Well blow me down, we have firmed up a fair bit of our Sabah visit planning, after only 2 total ground-up changes.
