"Don't tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you have traveled." — Mohammed For the last few weeks, I’ve had the privilege to travel through some of my beautiful country with some friends…. So here are some of my photos, so you can share in my memories. * Tsitsikamma National Park, Mouth of Storms River. (pictures above) This view is called Map of Africa, and is hidden away on a insignificant hill in the little town of Wilderness. An American friend of mine, came to visit, so of course we had to do a “safari”! This [View Full Entry]

After a few weeks of saying goodbye to London...I am back in South Africa... It feels a bit strange being back, and knowing that it's not just for a holiday. Reverse culture shock comes to mind. My last few weeks in London were very good. I did some some things that I've not done yet, like go and see Lion King! It was brilliant! [View Full Entry]

I am smiling and thinking how grateful I am to God for being able to spend a season of my life in this amazing city… I can write books about my time here (mmm…maybe I will someday) so how do I summarise my experiences in one post?! Friends Probably the best thing about London is the people! Some of my dearest friends here are Aussies, Kiwis, Americans, Brazilians, and of cour [View Full Entry]

When in Ireland... Europe » Ireland » County Mayo » Westport
"Wow!" I can't remember how many times myfriend and I uttered this word in the 4 days that we traveled along the west coast of Ireland.Yep, Ireland is beautiful!!! On Thursday we flew into Knock and in galeforce wind and very cold rain we located our rental and started of our 4 day journey to Shannon. Through mist, rain and occasional clear skies we drove on the narrow roads (which is marked 100km/h at most places despite the very sharp bends!!) stopping every now and again to take pictures. (I recently bought a new camera after mine broke on my first [View Full Entry]
