Today we went down to the Monterey, Carmel area. We drove the infamous 17 mile drive, which had some of the most amazing views. It's located in Pebble Beach, and ends in Carmel-by-the-Sea, one of the most picturesque towns you have ever seen! After the drive, we spend most of the afternoon in Monterey. Where we had lunch and visited the Monterey Day Aquarium, which was very cool! We left Monterey about 6pm, and headed towards Redwood City. Here, we caught up with Sam's Tio Chele & Fam. We had a DELICIOUS dinner at Portobello Grill, a new restaurant in the area. We had great time!! Enjoy some of the pics! :) Love, Lissette 'wants to move back to the City by the Bay' Hunter :) ... read more

Today we went to pick up our awesome red Grand Prix (or Pricks as we’ve been calling it), and went to check in to our hotel. Our car has the sweetest navigation system, which has become VERY handy so far, so totally worth the extra 7 bucks a day we’re paying! Anyway, after checking in, Sammie, Frank & me headed out to Santa Cruz! It’s about an hour or so south of San Fran, and where Frank went to school. (UCSC) We had lunch at the cutest Italian deli, and then walked around the little town, making a few stops at the shops in between. Frank then took us to see the The Natural Bridges Beach, and the University, both were so awesome! We took the 1 north, (Pacific Coast Hwy) back to San Fran, and ... read more

After 11 years, I am back!! We are so happy to be here! We arrived this morning in San Francisco, and we were so excited to start exploring! Sam's cousin Frank picked us up, and then we were off! As we were driving to Frank's house to drop off our luggage (our hotel isn't available until tomorrow) I realized I knew the area. I told him when I lived in San Francisco I lived somewhere similar, and when I told him the address (yes, I still remembered the address) he told me it was about 5 minutes away!! So I drove by my first elementary school, and the house I lived in when I about 5-8 years old! It was nuts! I remembered it much bigger, but I guess that happens when you haven't been back ... read more

Day three came & went...and it is safe to say that it was our best yet! Because we are here on the 'Romantic package' there are a few things that came included that we have been taking advantage of. Free breakfast EVERY morning...GOOD STUFF. Plus we had a free dinner here at The Bourdeau Restaurant...where the food is just delicious! Another perk was either a 4 hour horse ride, or a 1/2 a day on a yacht tour. So we opted for the yacht ride, and that choice was such an excellent one. We were up at 7:30 because the Captain was to pick us up at 8:30 at the main Marina Village (about a 5 minute walk from our hotel). We had breakfast and the captain came to meet us at the restaurant. He ... read more

We woke up this morning & enjoyed some St. Lucian cuisine...very good! The milk isn't warm so that's always a plus... We wanted to spend our day laying & swimming over at Marigot Bay, but when we got there, well, let's just say it wasn't very nice... Sooo we took a 'water taxi' over to the Northern tip of the island. We passed Castries (the most populated city here) and saw Rodney Bay, and finally docked at Pigeon Island. Our water taxi driver knows everyone so said he would stay around the island and take us back whenever we were ready... so we ate (met a nice family from NY), climbed up a moutain to see the French Fort Ruins (where we had the MOST AMAZING view of the island, actually on a very clear ... read more

Hi Guys! Sam & I are finally here!! We wish everyone could see the scenery! I'm going to post some of the pictures that we have taken so far...(if I tried posting them all, your computers would blow up because Sam takes 5647 pics a second :D) Our plane ride went smoothly, I was sitting behind toddler, who apparently was teething, but besides that it was alright. We got to St. Lucia at about 2:30pm, but with the immigration line & getting the cab, we didnt leave the airport until about 3:15. Okay so, did anyone know that they drive on the wrong side of the road here?! I totally spazzed when I saw it. Sam was actually going to try and go in the front of the cab with the driver, when he noticed ... read more
