under the stars
Thanks for the tip about digging a hole for the bum. Would it work on Worthing beach?! Hope Columbia turned out well. Don't they arrest everyone for drug-smuggling? Shall I send you a cake with a file in it? You may want to send in a job application for the vacancy of Finance Officer at Challengers!! Take care. Love Lyn

San Pedro and cuy
Cuzco Cuzco Cuzco.....many a happy day (well night actually). Agree with you - such an awesone place with fabulous nightlife. Managed to get out and about during the day a bit whern I was there - San Pedro market place - fantastic shopping. Great you went to Ollantaytambo possibly my favourite place in Peru - idyllic isn't it - but that could just be the calmness of it all after Cuzco! Waynupicchu defintaly worth the climb .........Sun Gate too I am told thought we got up at 4 in the morning, walked there to have visibility only to the end of your walking boots - it was foggy so never knew the view! Did you encounter Gringo Bills at Aguas Calientes ....Holy Grail fridge magnet lost on me! Sounds like you are having an ab fab time. Still not jealous ...no not at all. Off now to dig out Peru pics and journals! x

WOW!!
Reading this brought tears to my eyes. You have done what I have wanted to do since I found out about the Incas many many moons ago. The trek sounds such hard work but so worth it. The whole area sounds magic. Glad you made it to the top of the mountain - always the way to go!

Who is the very wise old man?
Cause I don't ever remember saying that to you and whilst I may be wise I ain't that old. Sounds like you are having an amazing time and on a high (pun in case you missed it). Altitude sickness sounds uncomfortable but with all the alcohol and clubing you seem to be enjoying not sure you wouldn't be feeling the same way at sea level. Looking forward to next blog and maybe some photos. Take care Love Dad

When in Argentina.....
I am of course referring to the wine tasting and not the gouchos!!!! Your last blog had me searching thro' old photo albums trying to find the name of the estancia I stayed on for the week. What fun that was. Reading someone elses travel blog is a great way to re live the good old travelling days! Thank you. Hope they haven't turned you into a carnivore yet. Try some vineyards in Mendoza ..........mmmmmmmmm!

Katmandu
Oh believe me the excitment doesn't need much more ramping up! After you left I read up again on what we are going to do - it does sound amazing and I got very excited already! Swimming with elephants is going to be scary but wicked!

having a ball
Ella sounds like you are having a ball. Bet the week in luxury is much apprecaited after all that roughing it! Hope you had the right things at your sisters when you got there - rememeber those conversations in the office above the garage about what to take and what to leave behind. Stay happy! Sue
