Yesterday was another day of sunbathing yay and reading one of my books for school oh this is the life lol! I also had a hardcore packing session where I had to make sure everything I needed for school was packed and what things I needed to buy in Wall mart on the trip to the city!We had Pizza whilst we all watched the film catch and release it was nice to all hang out as a family on my last night it was like my leaving party lol!! Or maybe a celebrating party that I was leaving lol! Finally back to Barryville I now have time to chill and thats what I have been doing since tuesday, because last week was so crazy busy I was so behind on my blogging by about four days I think so I have spent a pretty hefty amount of time in the last couple of days sitting at my laptop writing! Tuesday I did do quite a bit of sunbathing as well when it got too hot I would come in and write more of my blog lol! I have made sure to get out of the house each day to go for at least one walk sometimes two to give my eyes a rest from the computer or sunbathing lol most of the time its been a walk down the river road which never gets old ... read more

So today I leave Alexandria to go back Home to Barryville, I actually said that to Dayelle's mum on the phone I'll be coming home monday around 6.15pm and I was like Doh!!! hope she didn't hear that lol!! I had decided to get the bus instead of the Amtrak train as I would save 50 dollars! So at the beginning of the week I was really laid back about sightseeing and I was saying I've got the whole week I've got plenty of time and I was bumbling along in a very chilled out way and then it got to Sunday my last day here and I hadn't completed all the things I wanted to do or see so I tried to cram in everything but there are some things I didn't get to do but that just gives me an excuse to come back and visit Washington DC again!! woo! I want to say a big thank you to Carrie and Matt for putting up with me for this week and sorry for not spending much time with you guys I was a proper Tourist this week!! I decided what better way to see the city then on an Open Top sightseeing bus so I booked my ticket last night on the internet got into the city and couldn't find the bus stops lol I asked the guy for a map in the information centre thinking it might have the stops on but no it didn't so I went back to ask if he knew where the stop for the open top bus was and he told me across the road so I trundle over to find out that it was the trolley tours bus stop which isn't even open top i couldn't be bothered to go over again and go sorry your a muppet but i asked for the open top sightseeing bus stop lol so I decided to search for it ... read more

Today I went back to the City this time I took the Metro from Braddock Station which is luckily 5 minutes walk from Carrie's house, I was totally freaked out by this strange guy who first bumped into me when there was tons of room and smiled at me i smiled back just to be polite but then he kept looking at me and smiling so when the train came i thought i wouldn't go to the doors closest to the guy but go to the next one up and you wouldn't believe it he followed he sat about three seats in front of me but ones that were facing me I kept seeing him looking at me when i got to my stop i didn't want him to follow me so I left it to ... read more
