Yesterday was another day of sunbathing yay and reading one of my books for school oh this is the life lol! Today was the only day that Bonnie could take me to do my shopping for all the bits and pieces I need for school which I start on sunday ahhhhhhh I am so nervous but excited!!! Finally back to Barryville I now have time to chill and thats what I have been doing since tuesday, because last week was so crazy busy I was so behind on my blogging by about four days I think so I have spent a pretty hefty amount of time in the last couple of days sitting at my laptop writing! So today I leave Alexandria to go back Home to Barryville, I actually said that to Dayelle's mum on the phone I'll be coming home monday around 6.15pm and I was like Doh!!! hope she didn't hear that lol!! I had decided to get the bus instead of the Amtrak train as I would save 50 dollars! Today I had to get up at 7am so I could get into DC for 8am to get my ticket for the White House Garden Tour! So I was thinking there was going to be this huge line to get the tickets I got there at 8.10am went to the desk and got my ticket straight away the tours didn't start till 10am my timed entry was for 10.15 so i went and walked down to the Spy Museum as it's a popular museum i bought a timed ticket for 1pm. I decided what better way to see the city then on an Open Top sightseeing bus so I booked my ticket last night on the internet got into the city and couldn't find the bus stops lol I asked the guy for a map in the information centre thinking it might have the stops on but no it didn't so I went back to ask if he knew where the stop for the open top bus was and he told me across the road so I trundle over to find out that it was the trolley tours bus stop which isn't [View Full Entry]

Me Carrie and Millie went for brunch at the cool 50's diner called Silver Diner you have your own little booth with a jukebox you have to put a quarter in to play a song and its not electronic you have to flick the page over to see what songs are available! As I love the 50's I had a lot of fun just wish I'd had my grease outfit with me lol!! Today I went back to the City this time I took the Metro from Braddock Station which is luckily 5 minutes walk from Carrie's house, I was totally freaked out by this strange guy who first bumped into me when there was tons of room and smiled at me i smiled back just to be polite but then he kept looking at me and smiling so when the train came i thought i wouldn't go to the doors closest to the guy but go to the next one up and you wouldn't believe it he followed he sat about three seats [View Full Entry]
