We had decided to take the night bus from Hua Hin to Chumporn and then the Lomprayah speedboat to the island. The bust departed at 1145 pm and we were due to arrive in Koh Tao at 830am. The bus was nice enough though sitting near the bathrooms was a mistake. Last week we went to Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. We hiked over steep cliffs to the town of Bang Pu a very small beach with a resort and access to the Tham Phraya Nakhon Caves. James and I arrived Tuesday after 31 hours of travelling. It's now Friday night here and we just got back from our first real outing into the city of Hua Hin. My house is about 30 minutes outside of town and feels even farther than that.
