Strasbourg

We spent one night in Strasbourg and there happened to be a very colourful and loud parade of some sort going on through the streets. We watched them as they danced their way through the streets. Soon we lost interest and found ourselves browsing through the many cuckoo clock shops...we couldn39t resist and some old French lady that couldn39t speak a word of English somehow convinced us tha

I LOVE Venice........ I could really just end this blog entry right there but it will be a little unfair towards Venice so I will try my best to paint a pretty word picture of this old romantic place with all it39s mystique..No..you can39t drive your car to your hotel in Venice not even to just quickly drop off your oversized suitcase and boot full of parcels but you can however drive to

New York revisited

We have been treated to yet another visit to New York and loved it We saw so much more by rather doing a sightseeing walkaround as opposed to taking a cabbus or train. We stayed in Time Square and walked the 1 12 hours or about 7km to the World Trade Centre site. As it39s open to the public now we just had to go in. Even though we don39t personally know anyone who died in the 911 attack

And we are back in Canada for a day to view the Niagara Falls. The view is so much better from the Canadian side as one can see all three falls collectively known as Niagara Falls. It is made up of the American Falls Bridal Veil Falls and Canada Falls. Bridal Veil Falls is a very narrow falls between the two bigger ones.We walked right up to the brink of the Canadian Falls the water just end

Another pretty city it39s not as busy as New York and also not as big as New York but it still seems like a pretty cool city to visit. I loved the Bean a sttainless steel sculpture made up of 168 stainless steel plates welded together. It39s sooooo shiny I stare at it all day long I figured it must be the city39s bit of bling. We also went for a walk along the gorgeous waterfront it

Where on earth is Seldovia Well... it is tucked away in the Kenia peninsula opposite Homer in Alaska with a population of about 260 and the only way to get there is by seaplane or boat There are no roads connecting Seldovia to the rest of Alaska. It felt like an Island but we had to keep reminding ourselves that it was part of the mainland..It is a stunning little place there is so much beauty
