We love Hermanus - From: The whales arrive
My Dad lives in hermanus and we've been there 3 times. We see whales every single day we are there, it's pretty amazing. Don't forget the dassies and the baboons, the baboons can usually be found in the Fernkloof nature reserve, or raiding bins in the town ! We are travelling again to SA , this time with friends stopping in Hermanus, Knysna, Kariega Game Park, Knysna Elephant Park, Cape Town and Boulders Beach. You can catch our travel blog at http://diary.zone100.co.uk there is also a web site for our holiday this year (2007) with some useful links if you going that way. If you are enjoy yourselves.

slight correction - From: Cape of Good Hope
hi..glad you guys are loving the cape.. just a slight correction: the fishing town is called Kalk Bay (not Klaut) and the bar/restaurant you went to is called Polana (not Paloma)...yes, the ocean view with the waves crashing onto the rocks meteres away is just fantastic!...I wish more people would realise just how amazing South Africa is...

Dare devils extraordinaire.... - From: wine country
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Labetti (yeah.. that's you!!), Charlie and I were so filled with emotion reading this blog... we were in such suspense about the shark cage... so awesome!! I was reading it outloud like a real suspense novel to Charlie! Charlie says you two sure have big 'cojones'... if you know what I mean! Love your bravery!! What an experience you will NEVER forget! Sounds like you are eating everything... that's awesome! I bet you'll come home searching the local fish markets for Kingklip... and they're gonna say... "You have to go to South Africa for that my friend"...and you'll both look at each and chuckle.... haha!! Now.... what's this about getting bitten?? I'm scared! Better get 2 shots to be safe!! Hey...have you heard about those human-eating ants yet? lol!! Miss you to pieces!! xoxo!

Pizza - From: The whales arrive
If you want pizza, try Debonairs. Also don't expect food in small towns to be good.
