| 12th March 2008 Occasionally Bob | Glad to have you back - From: Welcome to Scotland where the weather is FABULOUS! Thanks guys. I feel homesick. It looks amazing. The rain in NZ cannae compare to the tartan clad misery guts rain we get in Sco'lund. Can I give you a mission to make me feel better? Gonnae stick up a photo of the hideous buildings at the Nevisport end of Fort William High Street. Everytime I think of the building and carpark around WHSmith, Mackays and the Doctor Surgery I get a warm fuzzy feeling about not being there. |
| 15th May 2007 Jo | Blogging only on the UK? - From: First flight of the Mini Egg: A trip to London with our baby girl. Please please please keep blogging. I'm doing most of my blogging from around Japan (where I live at the moment) but your domestic trips are still overseas adventures to someone else. Besides, I'm going to be in England and Scotland in a couple of months so it's interesting reading for me ;-) Jo Trouble p.s. congrats on the baby |

I'm obviously not working, but wouldn't go as far as saying I'm bumming around, esp at 4am for Beebop's feeds! Hope you are well, Shaz. x |

Me pal Sylv went to the Walthamstow dog races once (home to East 17 no less)... she was also a bit disappointed with the whole affair. Have you ever tried doing accumulator bets on the footie? Rob got addicted after putting on 1 poonderly that he found down the back of the couch. There were spreadsheets and everything - sad! |

| 11th March 2007 anonymous | - From: A good old Scottish Wedding! Congratulations! That is such wonderful news. A baby girl - just lovely. I love little children, so that's why I'm so thrilled for you. Enjoy every minute with little Beth. They grow up sooooo fast, and before you know it, they are taller than you, KNOW more than you etc! Thank you so much for your comment to me. I guess I should have gone to your first page and I would have read about baby Beth, but I have your last blog saved and go there to see if another one has been posted. I'll still be watching out for more blogs from you, and might comment again sometime, if you wouldn't mind. Hope you make it back to Oz. (come on Paula!) I have longed to go back for years now, and can hardly wait. Also gotta go to NZ, as I spent almost a yr there too. (My mum used to call me a gypsy!) All the very best to the three of you. |
| 2nd March 2007 Eggs on Legs | How nice! - From: A good old Scottish Wedding! To last commentor...... thanks for your wee note - that was nice. We should be publishing a blog soon featuring our little mini egg 'Beth' who was born on the 23rd Jan - 4 weeks early! It'll probably be from either Knutsford or Manchester where Alan is working at the moment so we spend a bit of time down there. Hope you have a great time in Aus - we cannot wit to go back again and have been poking our pal Paula to get her man down the aisle to give us an early reason to travel there again! Byeee! x |
| 2nd March 2007 anonymous | - From: A good old Scottish Wedding! I loved reading your blogs and still keep checking if there are anymore posts. Actually waiting to hear about the birth of mini egg! Hopefully we'll see a few pics. Sure miss the humour/wit that was so distinctive to you guys. By the way, I'm the one who commented on "Geraldton" way back when. It sounds like you were right. The place is dead now. I am going to Oz within the next year or so and am going to make a point of heading over to the west coast and up to Geraldton just to see how things have changed. Should be interesting! Take care. |
| 17th October 2006 Berny | Bra Fence - From: No Bungy Bra Fence was started in 1999. 4 women put their bras on it. Over the years many other bras were added and it became abig tourist attraction. This year, Queenstown and Lakes District Council decided it was a hazard and so the bras have all been removed. A local woman, Celia Williams is writing a book about it to raise money for breast cancer research. |

| 26th June 2006 Steven RW | Appreciation to the BLOGS :) - From: Champagne backpackers. Reading the BLOGs has been ace. A very detailed and witty set of reports. I am just back in the office after two weeks in Barbados. Needless to say that upon returning we are already looking at where to go next year. Work is indeed that utterly BALLS. |

| 13th June 2006 Kate | - From: Wine For Dudes. I have never seen a spider so big! That ant hill was pretty huge too! I really hate bugs so I would have just died if I saw any of that. See I'm from Louisana we don't have no big things like that. I'd rather see it in picture than in real life! |
| 9th June 2006 Eggs on Legs | Europe can be exotic too..... - From: Champagne backpackers. Gazman - don't worry - we'll try to make the Europe leg as exciting as we can...we're going to some pretty fabby places that we've never visited before.... and as for the food - have you ever had pigs trotters in marsalla wine??? |
| 8th June 2006 Gaz. | - From: Champagne backpackers. Its sad, in a way, reading this one. I know you've got the Europe leg to go, but away out east...it was just so exotic. Things most of us had never seen, food we'd probably never tasted, unusual drinks. I could go on. Anyway- if I can speak on behalf of the legions of Ouefs fans- thanks for being so fantastic and reporting things in such elaborate detail, and with the ever-present humorous Egg twist. Often, it was almost like being there. I see future careers as travel journalists! Soon, Gaz |
