Thanks for all of your messages they are really nice to read. We hope all is well back in snowy England. We arrived in Kolkatta last week and are still here!!! Longest time we have spent in one place so far. The train was hilarious, it is always a scramble to get on and with big back packs its even worse, on this occasion we managed to get to the correct carriage by ourselves (miracle!) but was stopped in our tracks by a large group of passengers arguing over their bunks, which actually belonged to us!! Hello everyone, well we caught the train from Agra to Varanasi, it was packed to the brim. We had our own little section with bunk beds and a couple of strangers but was fine, we just slept (well i did helen didnt because she was paranoid about missing the stop!) Varanasi was wicked we went to the Ganges (the holy river) where all sorts occurs, yoga, public cremations, washing, meditation, boat rides and ceremonies. Hey guys and family, right now we are sitting in a little cafe on the high street of Agra, we got up at the crack of dawn this morning (and tried to get packed during a power cut!)all to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise and well.........it was so worth it it was ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT!!! you can see why it is a wonder of the world!!! Hello everyone this is our first blog entry!!! We are on a tight budget at the internet cafe tonight so gotta be quick.....nothing changes! Well what can we say we are having the time of our lives. After a long flight we made it to paharganj in Delhi which is the backpackers hub, it is crazy here, colourful, busy, smelly (there is an open urinal outside our hostel...nice!!!)
