It has been a while since I last updated this thought the very busy schedule and the complete lack of access to internet renders the updating difficult. Its been a facinating crossing, leaving Russia going through Khazakstan and crossing all of Uzbekistan. The train journey lasted 46 hours from Astrakhan but it is just a fantastic experience. One dosn't see all that much outside but it is more the life inside the train which makes it so memorable and eventfull. Moscow - Volgograd 21hours... Train journey seem to be a lot of fun thought the heat at day reaching 36 to 38c can be a little overwhelming. People are friendly and gladly share they portions between one another. Speaking no russian makes it only that much more fun and entertaining... it is really travelling with the odrinary average russian across trully amazing time speared regions. Hello everyone, Moscow is one amazing place. The people, the culture, sights and life make it a fantastic town with a already very different attidudes in spite of its proximity to Europe. Arriving in Moscow is a bit of a riddle but once on the Metro network the destinations are clear and the stations true masterpieces. Hello Family and Friends, As you know I am leaving on a world trip for six months through Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, hopefully Tibet, China and finally USA.
