| 1st October 2008 Joe Montes | How ironic... - From: Skydiving in Hastings, MI I hadn't checked on your blog for awhile, and I just saw your address in my favorites when looking for a moment of retreat from an SAP audit. Romain and I just jumped in Australia. I had jumped before, but not with Sydney on the horizon. It seems like things are going well for you. It would be nice to see you sometime. I am home in November and December. Maybe you could come over for dinner? |
| 28th August 2008 Sue Hatfield | Pikeville yay! - From: Pikeville, KY We have visited Pikeville 4 times now and just love the place, it is great with the retro MacDonalds etc. To come from England and see a part of the US that is so unspoilt and 'country' is a real thrill. Having the Hatfield connection was the first reason for our visit and we have fallen in love with the amazing country side. We have also made friends with a great lady called Jean Hatfield who runs the Hatfield Family Museum in Sara Ann. So many great characters. See you again soon! |
| 12th August 2008 SkydiveInc.com | Glad you had a good time! - From: Skydiving in Hastings, MI Hey! I'm happy you had a wonderful experience and I hope you come back out again. Your first jump is just the beginning, skydiving can open up a world of fabulous experiences for you. |
| 4th August 2008 Yathi | - From: Skydiving in Hastings, MI Wow!! What a ride! Felt like I was doing it man. |
| 3rd August 2008 Celeste in Missouri | Awesome! - From: Skydiving in Hastings, MI Great account of it all! You didn't seem nervous or anything. I thought your voice at the end sounded hilarious! You are much braver than me. |
| 24th June 2008 unknown | pikeville attractions - From: Pikeville, KY i live about 15 minutes from pikeville and there is nothing to do around . the expo center has some shows but not many family events and there is a small park . we have to drive close to two or three hours for any amusment parks, zoos, aquariums ect.... we do have alot of resturants. and a couple very small museums that you have to pay a fortune to get into . that is about it. |
| 5th May 2008 Augusta | India - From: Delhi/Agra/Taj Mahal Ah, the post I've been eagerly anticipating. Very beautiful pictures--the Taj Mahal looks spectacular. Although, I must admit that some of the pictures are so awesome that they almost look fake; like one of those fake backdrops of world tourist sites. SURE, here's Henry in front of the Taj Mahal.....are you sure you actually went there? The Agra fort was pretty impressive, too. Not sure why you would need BOTH crocodiles AND lions to keep people out. My guess it that it was a pretty effective deterent. |
| 3rd May 2008 Girija | Interesting perspective of Mumbai - From: Mumbai (Bombay) For a Mumbaite who has grown up in Mumbai seeing it from your eyes is weird. I am in CA now, and understand that there is poverty and riches side by side in Mumbai but I realize all Mumbaites take it in their stride. It is a city of survival, so amidst all the poverty that you mention there is life, joy, hope and a will to be better. That is what makes Bombay the pulsating city that it is today. Comforts like airconditioning, clean roads, less traffic is possible in cities that have very less population, but the most amazing part of Mumbai is its ability to be so efficient despite the problems. I think Mumbai is a city of dreams and I hope you can see it that way too. |
| 1st May 2008 Augusta | Mumbai - From: Mumbai (Bombay) Wah-waaaaaaahhhhhh--Debbie Downer. We do take so much for granted in America. Our poverty doesn't even compare to poverty in other countries. It just makes it that much more apparent to me while people would even be willing to go to Bahrain to work for almost nothing just to get away from such bad circumstances. The Elephanta caves look really fascinating; if I ever go to Mumbai, I'll have to check them out. Can't wait to hear about the Taj Mahal and your adventures with J-Man. |
| 1st May 2008 Augusta | LA - From: Los Angeles Eh, not all that interested in visiting LA, either. I'm just glad your blog entry for this one didn't include a freak dolphin attack story. Man, this whole surfing thing could be dangerous! That's really cool that you went to the Chinese Theatre, though. I actually didn't know that the general public could go to movies there. Maybe all those tourists don't know that, either. |
| 1st May 2008 Augusta | Pikeville - From: Pikeville, KY Well, despite you playing up Pikeville's very best, I don't think I'll be visiting any time soon. Still sounds like it was a nice reprieve from the usual big city travel. |
| 30th April 2008 Celeste in Missouri | Hahaha! - From: Pikeville, KY You're thoughts on going to the track are hilarious and so true! I used to go watch Jamas ride and it was BORING (unless someone wrecked). |
| 30th April 2008 Celeste in Missouri | Awesome! - From: Los Angeles Great pictures! You are a busy guy, Henry! |
| 12th February 2008 Augusta | Skiing in Aspen - From: Aspen - Four Mountains, Three Days Somehow your ski trip makes my "awesome ski vacation" to Dubai look not quite so impressive. The longest run there takes less than four minutes from top to bottom. Oh well, not all of us get to live such a jet-set life..... Looks really cool! What ever happened with your ribs, though? |
| 29th January 2008 Santandrea | Home sick - From: Aspen - Four Mountains, Three Days Nice pics ans story, makes me home sick, I now live in South Korea I moved here from Aspen, and I miss it, especially this year with all the snow they are getting. To bad you missed the X-Games those are fun to go to. Actually I went snowboarding here last weekend. |
| 28th January 2008 Celeste in Missouri | SO COOL! - From: Aspen - Four Mountains, Three Days That looks awesome! I'm glad you got some sleep, but that stinks about the ribs! What is it with you and cool injuries?? Deep cut foot surfing in Australia, fractured ribs skiing in Aspen... how cool are those? I hurt my shoulder falling up the stairs the other night... not nearly as cool. haha |

They brought a little bit of awestruck tears to my eyes! You rock! You rocked.....on a rock....wait, does that mean you rocked THE rock? Whatever the case, congratulations! |
| 25th July 2007 Augusta | Sounds like.... - From: Cotopaxi Your descriptions of the internal and physical trials you experienced sound very similar to my experience of labor. Likewise, your description of the strength you feel you gained from the experience applies to labor as well. |

| 26th June 2007 mom | - From: Mexico Mission Trip 2007 It's so amazing how much you enjoyed a trip that doesn't include the luxuries and comforts that our culture says are necessary for happiness. That is one of the awesome things about going forward as the Spirit leads! |
| 24th June 2007 Augusta | Deep Thoughts - From: Mexico Mission Trip 2007 Your post was very deep this time....made me want to bust out of my limited horizons....and stuff.....or.....um...let me think about that one. I'm surprised that despite the detailed reading of your future, they neglected to tell you WHEN you might get married in the red tux to the ticket-taker girl...?? I'd ask for my money back. |
| 24th June 2007 Augusta | Float trip - From: Buffalo River Float Trip So, why didn't any of you guys brave sleeping in the great outdoors to make more room in the tents? Just a thought. Great pictures--looks like a lot of fun. Ah, man bonding! |
| 20th June 2007 Cousin Celeste in California | What a wonderful trip - From: Buffalo River Float Trip Looks like you had quite a lovely trip down the river. Aunt Nancy is glad you had a great time and very much wants to go on the same river trip sometime. Next time you're in California, maybe Bob can take you kayaking on the Napa River. It won't be quite the same - no bald eagles, for example - but at least you'd be on the water. |
| 8th June 2007 Ashley Cherri | Nice blog! - From: Chicago Again :) Thanks for posting the blog- I emailed your blog site address to Matthew to visit sometime |
| 8th June 2007 Augusta | Chicago - From: Chicago Again :) Nice pictures, as usual. When we were there seeing Matt graduate in April, we were quite surprised to see how beautiful Chicago is (having never been there before). It is especially pretty down by the Aquarium/downtown. I think you captured the sights well. |

| 24th April 2007 Celeste J. | Blow gun - From: Quito and Mitad del Mundo - Day 2-3 That blow-gun picture should be one of those "create a caption for this picture". "Frat hazing gone wrong", "Henry took some local herbs, and the rest is history", etc. |
