Colorado springs
Regi, I was so excited to see your pictures of the Air Force Academy and of the Garden of the Gods; I have a photo of that same Balancing Rock! I visited the Academy in fall of 1994 when my oldest son was in the Academy for a year; I also went to Manitou springs and loved seeing the rock formation at the Garden of the Gods! How cool to see it again on your travelBlog! Drive safely. love, Halle

Hi Mädels, erstmal n Riesenkompliment für Euren blog und die regelmässigen Einträge. Is das perfekte medium, wenn ich zwischendurch mal bissle Ablenkung vom grauen Arbeitsalltag brauch :) So komm ich wenigstens indirekt an all die locations, die ich während meiner US Zeit selbst nicht geschafft hab zu besuchen. Eure news haben zudem natürlich für mich auch n hohen wiedererkennungswert und schmunzelfaktor, frei nach dem Motto, das kenn ich doch noch aus eigener erfahrung. Also weiter so und viel Spass auf dem Rest des trips Grüßles Tim

I absolutely love reading about your adventure. I am so jealous, sure wish I could have come with you. Sounds like your having a great time. Except for the crappy hotel with the dirty bed. Bet you'd rather stay in the car instead of a crappy bed!! It just makes you feel like there are bugs crawling over!! YICK! Make sure you check the rooms before you pay!! Thats just aweful how some hotels get away with nasty dirty rooms!! Be careful, and keep posting!!! love ya Mary

Nu hallo, ihr zweeje, sachd emal, in ogglahoma un dechsas gibt's wo nischt ze sehn? Ich stecke gerade eure Tour bei Google-Earth ab. Mandy und Elisa halten Mittagsschlaf. Die Straße auf dem Video sah aus wie die A13 nach Berlin zu Wendezeiten. Ich kann euch auch nur beneiden um diese Zeit-Reise. Viele Grüße. Ralph.

Hallo Ihr zwei, hier muss doch mal jemand den Anfang machen und eure Mühen würdigen. Zuerst gibt es einen kleinen, schlauen Hinweis vom Thomas, da er sehr besorgt um dich ist liebes Pötschi, er meint, dass es auch über dem großen Teich Drogeriemärkte gibt, die unbedingt Sonnencreme verkaufen wollen, die vor Sonnenbrand schütz:-) Also wir finden es super, dass ihr einen solchen Trip wagt und euch durch verlassene Gegenden schleicht. Awe, Regina, we will miss you!! Darn it girl, wish you could stay!! I love every picture you took on your long journey. Now I just wish all the typing you and Antje did were all in ENGLISH!!!! Guess I'll just have to take up german to learn everything you said. HA! like thats going to happen! My husband may be of German decent, but.........I'M FLIPPIN ITALIAN, I can't even learn that language! LOL Have a safe journey home, and hope to catch you one morning (USA time) on Skype!
