Elephant Walk I definitely need to overcome my fear of horses and heights so maybe, just maybe I can follow in your footsteps someday. Wow!
Where are you placing your new artwork?
The Gift Magical! The photos are awesome and your details make it easy to imagine being right there with you. Better than NatGeo! Because it's the 2 of you. Thanks for sharing this!
Wrong information 1) PHOTO "Moorea and Bali Hai - This shows the island and Bali Hai as we approach early in the morning." Not Mouaroa, that's montain is Mouaputa (meaning mountain with hole).
"Doug & Annette at Bali Hai" Photo it's right
2) Cook not arrived in Cook's Bay but in Opunohu Bay.
3) The ancient name of the island is "Aimeho i te rara varu" meaning tentacular octopus.
Le Marche' Market I was in Papeete a few years ago and did not get to the Le Marche' market. While traveling the island I met many woman who commented that they had purchased their beautiful shell jewelry at the market. I was heart broken that I could not make it there. Do you know if any of the shell jewelry merchants have a web site?
On your way to NZ I'm enjoying so much your report of your 2010 adventure! How I wish I was there with you. I miss both of you. Will you please send my greetings to Dr. Tinkle, many happy returns for his 100th Bd! Tell Roseanne I said hi too.
Forgot to mention... PS...the pictures I have of the natives they are all naked and they don't have vans for transportation...very primitive.
Your pictures of the children are beautiful...and the plants...
Such Fun You two makes it as if the two of us were right on board with you. The style of writing takes each of us into the situation and it seems as if we were going to list right over with Doug. It all sounds like such fun. We know you are having a good time.

Such Fun Hi you two,
We are so happy to share a little bit of your trip with you again this year. It's so exciting. We got the photos from the holiday party. Thanks so much. It was such a lovely evening. So, keep us abreast of all the happenings in your part of the world. I know you will have a good time.
Got it! Doug - I did get your blog on my Sotheby's email so use whichever you choose.
FYI - in college I use to have a class in the Beach Boys lead singers home in Manhattan Beach. His girlfriend was a friend of mine and the group use to do ad-hoc concerts on fraternity row when they topped the charts. Mike looks a tad older in your photos... don't we all.
Your TravelBlog and photos Hi Annette and Doug,
WOW-- you two are amazing!!! IT was such a pleasure to meet you both LIVE in person in San Diego!!!
Thank you for forwarding me your travel blog. I really enjoyed reading it and will love to continue following you both on this exciting world cruise journey!!! I love all of your photos too. Enjoy your time. Thanks again, Hugs from Kelli ( in the rain here)
Nice Blog! Very nice! The cover picture of you two is great...and the one with Kelli is stunning. It's funny, we both used the Voyager as a start-off, but different views. I think your family and friends will really like your Travel Blog.
