PS...the pictures I have of the natives they are all naked and they don't have vans for transportation...very primitive. Your pictures of the children are beautiful...and the plants...

Doug - I did get your blog on my Sotheby's email so use whichever you choose. FYI - in college I use to have a class in the Beach Boys lead singers home in Manhattan Beach. His girlfriend was a friend of mine and the group use to do ad-hoc concerts on fraternity row when they topped the charts. Mike looks a tad older in your photos... don't we all.

Le Marche' Market
I was in Papeete a few years ago and did not get to the Le Marche' market. While traveling the island I met many woman who commented that they had purchased their beautiful shell jewelry at the market. I was heart broken that I could not make it there. Do you know if any of the shell jewelry merchants have a web site?
