5th OCTOBER 2008 - RAINY DAY ON HONG KONG ISLAND!! I slept well again and got up thankful that we had booked 2 nights and did not have to cart our backpacks around again! 4th OCTOBER 2008 - THE PEAK TRAM!! When I awoke on 4th October - day 3 - I felt Good!!! I had slept well again and was fairly happy that we were moving on to new a new part of Hong Kong and most of all......a new Hostel! We had already visited Tourist Information and they had advised us where to go to find a hostel! 1st/2nd OCTOBER 2008 - PLANE RIDE AND ARRIVAL IN HONG KONG!! The journey so far had been interesting to say the least!! The drive down to Heathrow passed quickly and we didn't get lost which is a first when my dad is driving.......though we did take one wrong turn!! 30th SEPTEMBER 2008 - ONE NIGHT TO GO!!! It was finally here!! I only one more sleep to go before I was due to jet off on my adventure!!! I was all packed apart from a few bits to put in the following morning. The bag was so heavy and I really could have done with someone to come along and carry it for me. I either have to hunch over so I rests on my back or stick my bum out so it rests on my bum......either way not a good look!!! 23rd SEPTEMBER 2008....ONE WEEK TO GO!! I had one week to go and was starting to make all my final preparations and sort all my things out. Nat and I had our leaving party on Sunday which was really nice. A lot of family and friends came and I managed to spend a bit of time with most people and say my goodbyes. It still did not seem like I was going even though I was saying goodbye. I was sure it would only hit me once I boarded the plane. 19th SEPTEMBER 2008.........FINAL DAY AT WORK!! They call me Dora the Explorer at work. When I arrived for my final day in the office, it didn't feel like I was leaving. I got on as normal with my jobs and it just didn't seem real until about 4.30pm when everyone gathered around my desk. I began to realise this was it! I was leaving and going to explore the world.
