this city looks really nice man, it´s not a shithole at all. the buildings are amazing, sounds like a calm place.. I like it.. you spent there just few hours and most time in library so I think there a lot of interesting places where to go...

Yeah, I meant that Zwickau is supposed to be a shithole, as in 20-30 Germans have told me that. I have no idea cause havent been there for more than 7 hours. Lutherstadt Wittenberg is definitely not a shithole, although I don't think in Martin Luther's time he would have had a hell of a lot to do aside from translate the bible, as it is a small, quiet place - that is what I meant!!! Cheers

Cool pictures
Georgeous pictures. I love the old churches and the lead light windows. The craftsmanship is unbelievable. Cheap labour i guess. Your shithole place looks pretty damn good to me!

Hi Leon, You are so right about Auschwitz - a gut wrenching reminder of how base mankind can really be. I also seem to remember lots of unexpected adventures on European trains, some of which were quite scary. However, there was an odd sort of balance in that for all the scary ones there were some incredible highlights involving total strangers. Still enjoying "travelling the world with you - keep up the good work. Kia tau te mauri. Jess J.

Enjoying my travels.
Hi Leon, keep up the good blogs Leon. I have been really enjoying following you around the world, especially when you go to places that i have been - brings back lots of good memories. I don't know about doing a marathon - I'm sure it is far preferable to sit in the park just watching the others doing it.

Do you really not like dogs?
Do you really not like dogs period, (specifically domestic ones) or do you just not like the prospect of being mauled by a wild animal? If the latter is true, I honestly can't blame you. But otherwise, I can assure you that you have run into all the wrong sorts of domestic dogs. They are truely a man's best friend. If you are looking for a particularly well tempered and mild mannered dog, I would suggest a golden retriever. Have you ever honestly sat down and petter one????
