flight back
I should be on a Qantas flight so hopefully I'll get back OK. It's just like BA to try and sabotage masses of people's Christmas. Delay in blog updates because I lost one USB stick, and the laptop won't accept the new one, so I need Wi-Fi. My hostel says it has wi-fi, but they are lying.

BA Strike
Shouldn't affect your flights (I hope, as I think you are on Quantas) but just announced BA staff will be on strike from 22nd December to 2nd January - may be worth expecting some disruption on your way home.

Green stuff
Sounds facinating - had noidea the jungle extended from the Darwin area across to north Queensland. Facinated by the photos of the vegetation,and the geological backgriund to Gondwanaland and Australia!

Jaws
Loved the picrure in the sharks jaws- Cairns sounds more my type of place than the Outback. Wonder if there's any scientific research on sea life,rather than just a museum?

Coffee and Lychees!
Well, never knew they grew coffee or lychees in 'Stralia - sounds like a great place away from the coastline, full of what seem exotic plants like eucalyptus. Wriying going well -three blogs since Darwin!

Out of the Desert
Glas you made it in one piece from the Red Centre to the green plants of the jungle! At last you had time tocontiue your blog.They are quite comprehensive, and must take ages to write! Seeing Agnes with a pint surprised me = 1. They still has old fashioned pints 2. The high price of them - double the English prices! Look forward to your observations on the Barries Reef and the sea life acorals!

Yep : Balena Cafe is great place to be. Also museum has plenty space for children to run around on well-manicured lawn. Many school groups of children visit on weekdays. This is a prime indoor tourist spot for Adelaide and indeed Australia. Give it at least three stars.

Agnes has set off todaqy (Sat 15/11) to join you on the 21.00 plane from Heathrow, although hopefully the high winds ( 50+ mph) will not stop them takung off! Loved your blogs so fsrl and look forward to ypur observations on Ayrs Rock in about a week's time.
