We started the day early with grocery shopping at one of the local stores as the house keeper was coming by early for the week. I have loved to hear the tale of the Embassies. Apparently Israel has a phone number that is one digit different from Marks favorite pizza place. Marks mom believes that is because whenever there is a crisis there is a spike in pizza orders which means Israel get heads

The confrence is over and I am off to Asheville. We were requested to help with a workshop that didn't really need us. The panel was good though and I feel they really got soemthing out of it. Thats ok getting paid to update my travelbog is a nice perk to the head egg of the last couple days. I'm excited though I get to see my friend Maggie and roam a little more without having to manage adu

STARS confrence

The confence has been uneventful unfortunately. Other then Faddens stuff it is limited to nifty. It has given me perspective on my role at Landmark especially with pulling away from New England for a bit. We did visit the UNC library and they had an amazing veiw from the 10th floor which was rare books. I will drop those online once I can get them off my card. Tommorrow Professor is coming i

Hotel Motel Holiday In

When I got the the bus station it was time to hit the street. Using public transit was an enlightening experience. I learn bus don't make chang and change for a 5 is 3 dollars. In the moment a 3.30 ride was worth getting to the hotel safely. I also learn the importance of watching your backpack on the bus. It like to hit the stop here button. Once I got to UNC charlotte I had the oppertunity

5 hour bus

A trip on Greyhound makes you think allot about where your at. I spent most of the time modding a hat and listening to music. It funny how when you still long enough the mind clears. The trip got interesting around South Carolina we picked up a drunk had the bus drive stopping twice on the highway. He was pretty bad and sitting on the isle sleep didn't help his balance much. Sunglasses on hel

Charlotte Landing

Got into Charlotte about 700pm and the search begins. After a bunch of phone calls and question of people in the area I find bus number 5 and confirmed somewhere to rest my head in the morning. So many bus and no idea were they go. I wonder what would happen if I just sat on one for the fun of it but then realized I rather not get mugged by the cub scouts after dark. On to a bus I fou

Rock and Roll Life Style

After getting ready it was up to Charleston for Turtle Folk to play at the Pour House. This one was much easier as we didn't have PA setup. The crowd wasn't a big as they were an out of town band but it was amazing to see how well they engaged the crowd. The band after was skilled but it was more like just them doing what they do on stage and not really interacting with the crowd. After words

Went out with Mke to a bar named Loco were his band Turtle Folk is performing. Grab burger and Guinness and then hung around for setup and sound check. It stange how much I enjoy wraping and organizing wires. Not to chatty because there was some some things going on in New England but it was great to just hang out and listened. The fun came at the end of the night during break down the was

I got to the bus station about 830pm after seeing see a cop escort a guy out of the train station I felt it better to grab my ticket and head back up the street were I seem like the sketch guy. Once the bus finally came around it was 5 hours of cyrostasis broken up by mystery parking lots and bus station breaks. It wasn't too bad as the trip was over night.
Airport Adventure

Getting through the gate was interesting I had jump between United and US Airways a couple times. I swear I saw a landmark students working at the airport but it could just be the stress. Security gate was pretty quick and much nice without Jason needing to talk about firearms and current events. I really wish I brought socks though. Walking that carpet barefoot is an experience I would like to

Big tear for the day. Today is both blissful sunset and a mysterious horizon. Blessing after 4 years I finally get a vacation never mind out of New England. Sad as I just drop Whitney off at the airport. Sadly that is the last Chicago Run I will ever be taking. Last trip to the air museum. Change is hard when truely care but I would rather know loss then never care at all. While passing the t
