Thursday 22st March Woke up early again to have a good breakfast. Bacon, eggs, toast, and fresh fruit. The fruit is so tasty in South Africa. The only bad news is the weather! Its cold and rainy outside and we’re picking the Harley Davidson up in 1 hour. Walking down Kloof Nek Road is about a 40 minute walk, did we get drenched! Typical it was 80 degrees yesterday. Wednesday 21th March Woke after really good night sleep at 8am. Bed is really comfy which is always good. Today we are climbing Table Mountain and its another beautiful day, very hot. Breakfast at the guesthouse is great and we’re going to need it today. Marli picked us up at 9.30, and we had a quick coffee in the garden before leaving for Table Mountain. Tuesday 20th March Arrived Cape Town 7.00am. Wonderful flight as it was empty only about 100 people on the Jumbo. Traffic was a nightmare from the airport and it took an hour and thirty minutes. The un-licensed mini cabs are lunatics weaving and cutting up everyone! Caught first views of table mountain, it is magnificent. Arrived at Jardin D’Ebene, fabulous contemporary African guesthouse. Staying here for 4 nights. Walked down from guesthouse to V&A Waterfront. They thought we were mad to walk. It seems like the united states in that nobody walks, everyone drives. Well we are almost there, apart from the packing. Its 7.30 on Sunday, we fly tomorrow and Kirsten has still not yet packed.
