Surreptitiously sneaking around the world. This is soooooo cool to check in and follow you all around. The stories are marvelous, the pictures awesome, and it all keeps me entranced like a good book.
Love the pictures Awesome pictures and narrative! I read every one at least a couple of times. The food is enough to start drooling over...
Wanna try to absinthe??? someday...when I grow up!
Love you both!
what a great story Thank you so much for sharing your stories, it sounds like you guys are having an amazing trip. I love hearing more about the locals!
Pictures, or it didn't happen I see Hannah out in the water, but not Nico. Did you get reef rash on your first duck-dive, Nico? Pictures or it didn't happen. :) Seriously, cool stuff. Keep it coming.
We understand We understand your need to stop for some Mexican food, we do really. All that gooey yellow cheese... snif. Hannah, LOVE your hair cut, so beautiful!
KISSES & Hugs! I'm sending you both big kisses and hugs! I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be able to see photos of where you are and what you are doing instead of worrying that you are lost in bangkok! ha! love you both. have a blast. :)
Girlfriend's nephew! Outstanding that you connected with Peter. His aunt Karen Walker Ryan helped welcome Hannah into this world - in Missoula Montana some 29+ years ago. And we're girlfriends to this day.
I wanna learn how to salsa...can I join you sometime? I don't care if I have to dance with girls!
You're doing a fab job on the blog. I'm lovin' it.
Around the world in more than 80 days Great observations and photos! I like how you guys really pay attention to the details of travelling. The two of you together are a excellent mix of left and right brain, science and art. Overall that makes "poetry in motion". One slight correction on the "dance students" photo...The guy is Japanese who relocated to Malaysia and married a Chinese/Malaysian wife. His partner in the photo is Chinese/Malaysian. And of course that is the great thing about salsa. You don't need to be married to all the wonderful people you get to dance with! As for jealousy? No choice but to leave at the door.
From the Aussies Hi guys,
I managed to find the blog! Great to see the pics. Thanks for the awesome memories of our trip to Perhentian Island. Troy and I are now PADI Open Water licenced/certified and are keen to get our Advanced qualification ASAP... yay! :) We arrived back in Aus today and are both back to work tomorrow - not yay :(
Happy travels and remember... the Great Barrier Reef is waiting... :)
Traveling vicariously! Thank you for letting me share in your fun! I think I had a houseful of babies at your age ... no WONDER I'm making tracks in my 60s. Have fun. LOVE the pictures and commentary.
Hey Guys! Looks like you are hitting some good momentum and really enjoying your trip! Isn't it great when you meet up with other travelers and share in the new adventures? Keep it up :)

Besos.
Survivor Hi Nico and Hannah! I see smiles on your faces! So good to see you are having fun and dealing with all the challenges along the path. It's all about the path! Enjoy it. Jane and I miss you both - of course! We'll think fondly of you when we brave the Bangkok streets and Siam Reap next week. "What would Nico and Hannah do . . . ?" This is my mantra.
Yeah, that took the better part of an hour and a half to find a way to get the coconut down and then figure out how to open it without any tools. Luckily, I had just watched Survivor Man a few weeks before I left so I think I had the basics down!
coconut Dude, I know how hard it is to open a coconut. That must have taken like an hour to get one open! Or maybe I am just a wuss?Coconuts rule, especially the milk....
