Hey Sion Hello Sion,
I did my tour with a company called Gap Adventures. The tour was called 'High Road to Tibet'. I had such a great time on it, a fab tour. But I'm sure you'll have a great time in Tibet however you go with. Best Wishes!
Hi - sorry to comment on your blog when I don't know you but I am going to Tibet in October so I found your account really interesting and has made me quite excited. I was just wondering which company you did your tour with? I do have a tour booked but yours sounded really cool. Anyway, enjoy the rest of your trip!

By the time you leave China I am sure you will be as comfortable there as you have become in Japan. Will check with Dad but some of things you did look familiar i.e. catching the water, but was a long time ago when we were in Japan. Looking forward to your next adventure in China. Take care. i love your newest blog, looks like you had an amazing time in Thailand and I only hope you have an equally good time in Japan. Say hello to beth for me. keep yourself safe! xxxxxxx
hey,
You seemed to have had loads of fun in thailand after the tour. You did so much in such a short amount of time! Really cool.
Have fun in japan and stay safe!
Tioman!! Abbie - I did my uni thesis on tioman island and thats where I learned to dive too! What village did you stay in? it looks like Genting with that silly coconut sign - I have a photo of that too! Thats so cool! Did you see my cleaner wrasse (thin with black, blue and yellow stripe down its side that cleans the other fish?) Did you see any little sharks? or the parrot fish - did you listen for the noise they make when they nibble at the coral! I cant believe you went there, thats so exciting I was there for 6 weeks and yes the ferry captain had a death wish then too, I was checking out the emergency exits from the second I got on it and we were convinced we were going to loose our cases from the outside (just tied down with bungee!)
xx

Wow - great blog Dear Abbie,
Your blog is great and you have sold me Cambodia Vietnam maybe? Africa is similar to Vietnam on the road front and really scary - you never get used to the manic driving and huge pot holes. Really got the picture of your day to day travels and the sites you are visiting.
The food sounds yummy and hopefully one day I will get there to try.?????????
Hoping you are keeping happy and enjoying all, but sounds very tiring with the travelling, but think you sort of get used to it.........
Big hugs Janexxxxxxxxx
wow what a start ........... May you have many more chinese new years!!!! Good reading Abbie reminds me of my memories of Hong Kong as I also had a whirl wind tour and some very strange food, overcast, humid and rainy weather.
I found it hard not to see the sun and lots of grey skies. You will have arrived in Vietnam now and hope you are enjoying space, more colour and something a!!!! Look forward to your next blog.
Lots of love Jane
Hey! that sounds amazing, sorry I didnt warn you about the sea cucumbers (conveniently I forgot) i think the standard description is 'mildy less appetising than phlem' . Id forgotten so much about singapore but you are reminding me of it - the city/country thing really got me too, its like if England was just London.
Have a great time in Vietnam, Im looking forward to your next blog :)

I know Abbie, I know exactly how you felt at the airport. Going through the security gate whilst catching the last glimpse of your parents knowing you won't see them for a good while should have sent shivers down your spine!
I felt the same when I was 16 and left for the USA for whole year, I was so happy that I was not even thinking about the fact I wouldn't be seeing my parents for a good 9-10-months period. But soon after I went through security that certainty was clear to my mind!
I am going travelling around the world for a year and wanted somewhere to blog so my friends and family can see what I've been getting up to! :D... full info
