We've been spending a couple of weeks enjoying the delights of the German Christmas Markets. They really do Christmas well over here.....the smell of roasted almonds is in the air lights are twinkling everywhere and you get to snuggle up under warm blankets with piping hot Glhwein in your hands..... I collected Jaime from Hamburg Airport on the 24th Novem http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/District-of-Berlin/Berlin/blog-459324.html Above the clouds..... What a surprise I was having a bit of glum day trying to decide what to do with the rest of my life as usual when my sister Heidi told me to wrap myself up warm grab my camera and hop in the car. She had a surprise planned for me. I've mentioned previously that Heidi's boyfriend owns a restaurant that's situated on a small Airfield and my lovely Sis had arranged for me to partake in a 35 minute http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/Schleswig-Holstein/blog-449962.html Happy Halloweeeeeeeennnnnn AAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/Schleswig-Holstein/blog-449710.html Wild Things Hello there Today was a day to breathe some fresh air and visit the Tierpark Hagebeck. A huge animal park on the outskirts of Hamburg. Although I prefer my animals in the wild its an unfortunate fact of life that humans have encroached so much on habitats that some species can only be seen in captivity. Hagebeck does its job of conservation and education very well so I packed myself some lunch an http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/District-of-Hamburg/Hamburg/blog-446946.html A Vet's life.... Hello Again well my first day was a complete mixture of emotions at the vets. I was thrown in at the deep end which I loved. I was assisting with Ops before I was even introduced to anyone they appeared to have a real staff shortage. Although I must admit that the responsibility felt a little daunting. We performed a total of 12 minor operations undertook a tummy scan on a lovely fluffy ferrel http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Germany/Schleswig-Holstein/blog-445154.html Great News Hi Everyone just a quick update....I have received great news today.
