Greetings All! Well a lot can happen in a week, especially when you dont try. Since we last spoke I have become a Llama farmer and married a Peruanan gipsy woman called Mariella. Clearly I am lying......I am working on the Llama farmer bit. Well just about managed to get over my stomache bug in time for tonights Fiesta!!! (party) Elvira drops me and Chris at the fancy dreess shop and we get involved straight away in picking our outfits, the choice is pretty limited, especially as chris wont go as Batman and Robin "why should I be your sidekick" he mutters.....well for a start i´m taller!!! Ok so i was expecting my birthday to be a bit of a non-event....well as b´days go it was up there!! Oh wait a minute before i tell you about that i´d better mention the night before!! Greetings from Peru!! Well we arrived safely all be it very late and very tired!! So on first impression and from talking to our transfer driver downtown Lima is not the safest of places at night...nothing like an easy in eh! Turns out it wasnt too bad after all, that said though we didnt really venture out at night as there´s nowhere to go...everywhere seems to shut early! Ok so its fair to say that we haven't even left the Uk yet and already I ran into one major snag! Just for future reference to you all, if like me you are really meticulous then when going travelling you would probably take photocopies of your passport to make life easier if you lose it whilst abroad.........now the irony of this story is those copies dont count for s*** if you walk away from the photocopier with said photocopies but foolishly leave the passport in the machine!!
