In a little less than 12 hours, my flight from London Heathrow (which is where I am now) will land in New Delhi International. My flight to London was mostly uneventful, I watched Amelia (brilliant), drank a few glasses of wine and listened to the Backstreet Boys thru the Audio on Demand (yay!). Yep - pretty darn relaxing. Amongst my relaxation, I realized that while I have a general itinerary planned for travel and lodging, I haven't really selected the things I'd like to see and do. So I'm starting with Delhi. How exciting! My very own, first ever travel blog! I'm pretty excited about my Indian travels (not to mention nervous, scared, hesitant and partially terrified), so I thought I would try to blog about my journey a bit before hand, during whenever I get a chance, and of course some concluding thoughts after the two weeks are done. This would be, then, the little bit before hand. I depart in a little over 3 weeks for New Delhi. The history: my last visit to India (specifically, Gujarat) was about 13 years ago.
