Hi there, this is deryck here and you are entering this page at your own discretion, so if you are offended by my language, thats your own problem, don't mean to be cruel, but thats the way it is children. Anyways, my traveling consist of 2 parts; Southeast asia tour from 2jan07 to 12feb07 and the australasia tour from 10apr07 till late jul07. You are so welcome to cruise over and check out what's happening to me, I'll be updating it once every 2 or 3 days, so do watch out yeah. And bear these words, Out there is everywhere. Well the reason im doing all these crazy stuff where few singaporeans do is because I have a freaking long break before I enrolled into my University course(10months break? wtf) I think if not now, when? So better get my lazy arse off to see what the outside world looks like before I join the adulthood of working 247 in offices with internal politics and all. and also, by doing this, i will have great stories i can share with my family, my friends, my children, and my children's children. Its a historical point for me, means alot. Though you readers might never felt what i felt there, I will make it as imaginable as possible to you guys. Enjoy reading chaps.

Taj Mahal marks the last and most important Visit in my entire India trip. I swear I never leave India without going there and I did it. Though many shits happened along the way...first heard about riots in New Delhi due to politician uprisings, then no train tickets @ mumbai, then no bus operations in Delhi due to Shiva's birthday and their metro subway construction inconveniences. I'll say its worth the visit in your life.... read more

Akbar's Masoleum and Agra Fort Finally after all the hassle(car crash and fucked traffic from Delhi), I am at Agra, which is like 200km away from New Delhi. It was kinda luck as I just got to realise that Taj Mahal closes on Fridays and today is Thursday 3pm. Had to rush again. This is the most hectic time schedule ever in India after the lazy 8 full days spree at Mumbai. First to Akbar's Masoleum where his tomb lays there, then to Taj Mahal. Agra fort pictures you see here are actually for tomorrow. THIS IS BACKBLOGGING. I just though it'll be nice to give credit to Taj Mahal as a single blog entry later. Save the best for the last. Well there was nothing much spectacular to see at the Masoleum and Agra Fort. ... read more

NO TIME FOR LONG GRANDMOTHER STORY. Time is always on a rush so to say. So pictures will explain my days. This is the entry that runs from Mumbai on 16th to New Dehli on 17th and on the same day proceeding towards Agra where Taj Mahal and Agra Fort lies. Mumbai to Delhi takes 1305km and 1 full day by Rajdhani Express (train) that costed me 2295Rupees to reach there. ... read more

Day 6 14th July Another day has gone, and I and nothing else better to be done than exposing myself to local movies and of course Hancock. One's at 3pm and latter at 8.15pm. Had a terrible if not horrific brunch which sort of disabled my appetite for the rest of the day. THERE IS NO FOOD THAT I LONG TO EAT, NONE! Call me picky. Anyway I had the plan of going to get the movie stubs, then head over to Chowpatty beach for a Loner's stroll, in the end the timing didn't meet, and I felt lazy to move around. It's bloody hot to walk around here, but at least now I felt comfortable walking pass street vendors as most of them kinda recognized me after such draggy stay here. There's this Map-seller guy ... read more

So I call it Elephanta Island Day. Set off 9am in the morning. Here's some Mastercard Commercial: 2Samosas and a cup of Chai 42Rupees, Boat ride 120Rupees, Almost puked out the samosas on the boat, Priceless. Headed out to the Apollo Bunder at Gateway to India and got the boat tickets. took them 1 whole hour to travel 11km across the Arabian Sea. i think the boats were running on a jet ski motor. The caves inside weren't that amazing to hang around, but the island did exhaust me for the day. Hills and stairs sweats my ass. Nevertheless got to know this girl called Josephine from the states, staying 4 hour above Chicago(as what she claims), working at Hyderbad in some Finance company. Thanks to her we went straight for pizzas and beers at Not ... read more

Back at his place for the last night here. Will be heading towards Mumbai on a 19 hour bus journey. Initially I thought its 19 hours how far can it be, taking into account that buses are ridiculously snail-like here. Well the map begs to differ.... read more
