Hello, my name is Dennis and I am a 24 year old Philadelphian male. I have spent my entire life in Philadelphia and I am willing to share my experiences and insights with those adventurous to travel into Philadelphia giving them the best experiences in the city. I'll break Philadelphia down so the tourist can feel like a local with all the nightlife scenester experience.
I also have huge travel expectations as my wanderlust had accumulated over the years. I plan on pioneering Eastern Europe exposing the luster of the historic cities that were smelted in the Soviet era. It starts with cheap language lessons of Russian in Minsk, Belarus for 5 months before departing on an oddessy to visit friends in St. Petersburg and Moscow, and from there I will go to Poland, Czech Republic, Solvakia, Austria, Hungry, Romania, Bulgaria, and maybe Turkey. I plan on traveling cheap and staying with friends. I will keep you pasted with every step I take. I believe all that is needed to travel is the desire and some good friends. I dreaded Ireland from the start because I tried my hardest to spend the least amount of time under the Euro currency. Ireland was harsh. So harsh, in fact, that it set a small limitation on the amount of fun we could have. See… we do not need to drink to have fun, but we have more fun when we drink. Just think, all the years we worked on building our tolerances, all the calories we added to our bellies, all the times waking up and not remembering prepared us for this, to beat the Irish at their own game. Only one problem, alcohol there is so f*^#ing expensive! Okay, the grass is green, the sky is grey, the people are nice, and the food is horrible, but face it, there is a financial limitation to

I found out about zoom airlines though the cheap flights forumn I registered for on . It was literally titled “Cheap Fligts” where basic customers such as myself and other who work for travel companies and airlines post their deals as early as possible, so I took advantage of it. Zoom was dirt cheap for the dates we were flying, and the flight was packed to and fro. Look up Zoom. The seats were tighter then those old Greyhound buses, but at least they smelled better. The food was pretty good actually. Manicotti on the way there, and chicken or Salisbury steaks on the way back. Unfortunately the movies were the

I had the wanderlust equal to a nineteenth century missionary without the patience and overlying mission, and this trip is the best way for me to relieve it. I am writing this after I traveled. I am using my notes and pictures to refresh me of the situations. "Denny the Explorer" is the subject of the email my twin sent me after she haven't heard from me in a while, so add that to my current freeze in creativity, I've decided to use that to title this blog. Now this is how it all got started... I originally wanted to travel to Eastern Europe because I wanted to go where most people I

It it three blocks from the Market East Station entrance in Philadelphia and the bus actually drops you off in the Tribecca neighborhood next to the Brooklyn Bridge Station in NYC. Do some research on traffic patterns in north New Jersey and know the best time to go. You can eat and drink on the bus with no problem. Plenty of times it is worth preparing yourself bus en route to the NYC nightlife in order to step onto NYC soil with some lifted spirits. You can spend all night out until 6 AM in the clubs

Philadelphians appear to be a mob of opinioned, stubborn, and self-centered individuals held together by the cosmic glue of Philadelphia sports and good eats. You would seem like that too, growing up in a city where everything is against you. Philadelphia's subway system has only two lines and to supplements its lack of tubes it is overcrowded smelly buses. One would think a car would help one get around only to be stuck behind those buses. Philly is the city where taxi-cabs can be more expensive then limousines, and it can cost much to drive and safe, legal parking spots are the hardest real estate deals to find. When you do drive, be aware
