Hi Alex I am a friend of your mum's and wanted to see how you are getting on. The one thing I do want tosay straight off is how artiiculate you are about sharing your experiennces - its just as if I am actually there which is in fact not as easy as it sounds. That english woman sounded like a dick but you were absolutely spot on so fair play. Sounds like good times bro, cant believe its 2 years since I was doing the same... so glad you're getting to have the same experiences! 2 years ago today I was in Udaipur funnily enough! May give u a ring in a lil bit, keep enjoying!

Imaginary Girl
How come the girl pulling off the sick dance was imaginary? Wouldn't she have been rather hard to film in that case :-) ? I'm not surprised it was a moving experience at Leopolds, it'll probably continue to be that moving for everyone who's ever had an connection with the place, a bit like me going back to the WTC site. I'm definitely liking the writing style - well done!

I think you captured it well with that phrase. I remember that about Mumbai too. The same is true of KL by the way, especially during the forest burning season in Borneo!! Luke gave me Shantaram for my birthday and I still haven't got to the end of it. I really must find time between lectures and exams to finish it! You should check out Marine Drive at night. I think it's better then than in the day. P.S - how many cows have you "met" so far???

Yay! So glad to be receiving these now. Well it sounds like you've developed a taste for expensive business class seats. If you think BA is good, you should experience the new AA business class trans-atlantic (though not against my bank account!!! hehe). Good writing style too .... definitely fun to read!

keep writing!!!! But if it takes too much time you could always write less - up to you really and how much you want to be blogging ;-) As for the rich/poor side by side, Sierra Leone was like that - remember seeing a house with about 8 shiny mercs parked outside and a tin shack with no door or much in the way of walls right next door to it - it's shocking and you never forget it. btw will never look at toad in the hole quite the same way again!!! x

These are the highligh of my days lol. Seen as my busiest day involves 3 hours of lectures i have a fair bit of spare time so write as much as you want! Its also the most reading i think ive ever done! x
