God Bless you in your ministry My husband and I served under the Evangelical Covenant Church, in the DRC (Zaire) from 1974 to 1989. I am interested in others who serve in foreign places. I am in the process of setting up a web/blog site. I am working on my first non-fiction book, about our experience in Congo. Will follow your blogs. Blessings.
Keep up the good work Hey Dena,
Neat to hear you have sailed on to Guinea and are starting a new mission. So appreciate your servant's heart. Sounds so interesting to travel to so many different places. Fall is arriving here in VT. Cool nights, clouds laying in the valley's in the morning, leaves starting to turn and kids going back to school. We finished our sabbatical and are back at LBC. Praying for you as you and Mercy ships share the love of Christ in the places you go. - Joel
enjoying your blog Hey Dena,
Been enjoying reading your blog while on sabbatical after seeing about it in the bulletin. Your descriptions of things are really good. I was interested in your time in Togo as I have a childhood friend who teaches/directs? a blind school for a mission there I believe in Lome. Canary Islands sound like an interesting place to visit. Praying for you & appreciate the work you are doing for the Lord

hi Craig is here this week. He is doing an installation at the Franklin Park Zoo. So Diana and jeff are coming this weekend to see him. I invited Denny but he is apparently in the midst of ripping the kitchen apart. Thinking of you, Jim got red sox tickets for tonight so he is going with Craig (they are doing TERRIBLE) They did have a lovely 100th anniversary of Fenway Park event. They invited everyone who has ever played for the team even if only for a day. Jim has had a couple business meetings with Rico Petricelli . They may be doing some business together. That was a thrill for him. Nola is not doing well. She failed chemo. We are leaving for Alaska on thurs We will decide at the beginning of the week what we are going to do about her.
hi your blogs are getting better...I'm so glad you are writing. I love travel blogs, unfortunately every time I read one of yours I end up scrolling thru a bunch and lose an hour or two!! Makes me want to take off for parts unknown. Jim's mother and brother are coming this week. We are leaving for Alaska on the 17th, seeing Sam for a day before we leave so I'm getting excited abouthat too.

Most of the photos were taken by crew members and placed on the share drive. A thank you to them for sharing. Mercy Ministry photos were taken by the group leader. Individually we are not permitted to take photos during these activities. Our focus is on interacting with the children and adults.
