Hill Top - From: Hill Top ~ Beatrix Potter's house
Hi Eileen Beatrix Potter's house is located at Hill Top in the Lake's District in England. This is a gorgeous peice of country to drive through with many narrow and winding roads with breath taking views ranging from high in the mountains with sheer drops to sparlking lakes and cute little towns to visit and drive through. It can get a little crowed at Hill Top, you buy your tickets at the museum and park your car there and walk up the road to the actual house. You are given a time to enter the house. More info on how to get there (depending where you are coming from) can be found at this address, or you could use google maps to help plot a route. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/w-visits/w-findaplace/w-hilltop/ Hope this helps Deb

Thanks Ros, we are all having a great time. It was so much fun catching up with Brenda and Eddie last night! Brenda pointed out the perfume shop you told Tom to check out and we are going to have a closer look today! We have done so much and seen so many wonderful things. I have a heap of entries and photos waiting to be added...if only my eyes would stay open long enough of a night when we come in! We are touring Normandy tomorrow, get picked up around 6ish and won't return until later that evening! Glad you are enjoying the blogs and you find my antics entertaining!! xx

Hi D&T, I sent this pic to my daughter in Japan. She lived in Edinburg for 18 months - reckons this woman was really scarey. So nothing has changed - don't know hold old she would be. Hope you are having a ball - look forward to the next stage of the journey.
