The Bus Journey The overnight bus journey wasnt too bad, when we got on the bus a little girl probably around 7 years old was sitting in my seat, so i had to use my best spanish to say my seat and show her whos boss, after bullying a small child out of a seat I started to watch Twilight in Spanish, which I assume I found more interesting than if it was in English, I managed to sleep for the majority of the journey, though we were sat right by the toilets and got a disgusting whiff everytime someone opened the door. : Day 1: We got a fairly cheap taxi nice and easily from the airport straight to our Hostel in the centre of Mexico City, as we were far too shattered from the flight we unpacked in our dorm and chilled out in the hostel with a couple of beers before going to bed. The hostel was in a very good central location in the city, was clean and the staff were very helpful the beds in the dorm were quite comfy but really hot. : Day 2 - "I think we look like Tourists!": When we woke up we went to breakfast then straight out to have a walk around Mexico City, we stuck out like a sore thumb, we were the only people wearing shorts and flip flops and travelling with two 6ft plus ... read more
